Pictures and Details on Girls Aloud Eyelashes Range

(Cheryl, Nicola, Nadine, Kimberley and Sarah)
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about Girls Aloud working with Eylure to create their own limited edition false lashes range. Now more details and pictures have emerged:
- Cheryl’s lashes are the longest and thicker of the lot and are perfect for a glamorous occasion.
- Nicola wanted her lashes to have length and thickness but still looking natural: they’re sparse but full for a fluffly effect.
- Nadine’s lashes are full, layered and natural, ideal for everyday wear.
- Kimberley created lashes that are shorter on the inside and longer on the outside to provide a fuller lash finish.
- Sarah wanted a spiky and full style, perfect for a night out, that elongates her eyes.
The lashes will be available for £5.00 in Superdrugs stores all over the UK, and on asos.com, which ships internationally, from 20th April, Claire’s from April 23rd, New Look from 1st May, Boots from 17th May and Sainsbury’s from June.
What do you think?
I really like Opi’s new collection, the colors look so soft and sophisticated. My favourite is I Pink I Love You, it’s a really nice shade of pink.
As for Girls Aloud’s false lashes range, I was hoping for something more original. But overall, the collection is very nice and with 5 different style to choose from, everyone will be able to find a pair that best suits their needs. Sarah’s are my favourites, but Nicola’s lashes, which are the most original of the lot, are really intriguing me too.

Celebs Beauty News
Girls Aloud to release false eyelashes range

Eylure has teamed out with Girls Aloud to create 5 sets of lashes, one for each band member. The girls, who often wear Eyelure lashes, designed their own set which will reflect their individual style and personality. Each set will have a different and distinct packaging as well.
The lashes, priced just under £5, will be released in mid-April.
Lindsay Lohan to release a self-tanner lotion

Lindsay Lohan is going to release a self tanning lotion called Sevin Neyn, (named after her favourite numbers), on April 15 on Sephora.com and on May 1 in Sephora stores. It will be only be available for six months.
The lotion contains Dihydroxyacetone (DHA), an ingredients derived from plants like sugar cane, that darkens skin by interacting with the amino acids of dead skin cells. Sevin Neyn is said to take about two to five hours to develop and the results last for four to five days.
Salma Hayek to release her own beauty line

Actress Salma Hayek is working on a new venture: her own beauty line. She’s currently working with a drugstore to release effective products that don’t break the bank.
Salma says: “I’m trying to develop a line with a drugstore so that it is affordable for everyone. We’ve researched for two to three years. My grandmother was a cosmetologist and she used to make her own creams, but my whole approach is how can we get the essence of the really expensive ones, but for everyone to be able to afford.”
What do you think?
I’m interested in anything budget-friendly and I’m curious to see what Salma will come up with. And being a huge Girls Aloud fan, I’ll surely check out their false lashes range. As for Lindsay, well, I don’t really use self-tanners as I love my pale skin and let’s admit, she’s had so many self tan disasters, I’m not sure she’s the right person to release this kind of product.
So, what do you think guys? Are you gonna buy the products released by these ladies or are you tired of celebs launching their own beauty lines?

Eylure to release false eyelashes for men
These days men are becoming more conscious of their looks. Lots of men take care of their skin using moisturiser or blemish products. The male grooming market is growing very fast and now Eylure has announced the release of Natural Lashes for Men. These are regular false eyelashes but have a clear strip along the base, so there is no tell-tale lashline.
Eylure say, “The male grooming market is increasing one and a half times faster than the women’s market as men start to realise that looks do count! With mainstream cosmetic brands bringing out ranges specifically for men, Eylure believe the time is right to introduce men to the wonders of lashes which ladies have benefited from for over 60 years.”
They come in two versions: Fine natural Lashes for men for a subtle look, or Thick natural lashes for men for a dramatic look. Both retail at £5.45 and will be available at Amazon and Harrods from next month.
What do you think about a man wearing false eyelashes? Personally, I like a man that takes care of himself. I think it’s ok for them to use moisturizer, maybe even concealer to hide the occasional blemishes. But I also like men to look like men. Hiding their imperfection is one thing but using makeup is another. I would totally freak out if I noticed a man wearing false eyelashes.
