have you been missing my bright looks? I certainly have so I’m glad to finally be able to show you a very bright, colorful and shimmering look I did with yellow, gold and blue shades. I really like this color combination, it’s fun and summery (yes I know we’re in the middle of winter and it’s been awfully cold lately but the shades still remind of a clear summer day). Directions:
- Apply an eyeshadow primer to your eyes (I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance) to help makeup stay put all day.
- Then, I applied Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy to make the color pop more and make the shimmers stand out. If you don’t have FPE, you can skip this step.
- Apply a bright, sky blue shade (I used Fyrinnae Arcane Magic Eyeshadows in Wizard’s Apprentice) on the outer V and crease.
- Apply a bright yellow shade (I used Barry M Dazzle Dusts in #76 Yellow) on the inner part of the lid. Leave the middle part bare. Then apply the same shade on the inner part of the crease and blend where it meets the blue.
- Sweep a matte light yellow (I used Honeycomb in the Sleek Makeup Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette) on the browbone.
- Apply a very shimmering and bright medium blue shade (I used Layla Sparkle Eyeshadow in n.13) on the outer V and the lower lashline. Blend well.
- Apply a glittery and sheer pale gold (I used Layla Pure Eyeshadow in n.2) on the middle part of the lid. Blend well where it meets with the yellow and blue.
- Apply a bright blue pencil eyeliner (I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Electric) on the waterline and a black one (I used Pupa True Eyes Eyeliner) on the upper lashline. Apply mascara.
- Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the skintone (I used Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare) and follow with concealer (I used Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer) where needed (I used it to hide dark circles).
- Apply a matte pink blush (I used Silkygirl Blusher in Flashing Rose) on the apples of your cheeks.
- Apply a semi-opaque bright pink gloss (I used Barry M Lip Gloss Wands in Bubblegum Pink) on your lips.

- Apply a soft pink peachy shade (I used Shiro Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow in Shaymin) on the sides of the yellow shade and blend well.
- Sweet a copper bronze shade (I used Shiro Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow in Small Key) on the crease. Blend.
- Apply a black shade with red shimmers (I used Shiro Cosmetics Loose Eyeshadow in Ganondorf) on the outer V to darken it a bit.
- Sweep a white shade (I used the one in the Sleek Makeup Safari Eyeshadow palette) on the browbone.
- Sweep a rich, medium brown shade (I used the one in the Sleek Makeup Safari Eyeshadow palette) on the lower lashline.
- Line your upper lashline with a brown pencil liner (I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Whiskey) and apply mascara.
- Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the skintone (I used Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare) and follow with concealer (I used Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer) where needed (I used it to hide dark circles).
- Contour your cheekbones with a matte peachy brown blush (I used Sleek Makeup Blush in Suede), apply a peachy blush (I used Essence Silky Touch Blush in Secret It-Girl) on the apples of your cheeks and highlight the cheekbones, middle of the nose and chin with a an off-white highlighter shade (I used Senna Spot Lites Highlighting Pencil).
- Apply a semi-opaque pink gloss (I used Senna Pearl Glow Lip Lacquer in Sunkiss) on your lips.

- Sweep a matte cream shade (I used Bow in the Sleek Makeup Oh So Special palette) on the browbone.
- Apply a brown pencil liner (I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Whiskey) and both the upper and lower lashlines and on the waterline too. Apply mascara.
- Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the skintone (I used Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare) and follow with concealer (I used Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer) where needed (I used it to hide dark circles).
- Apply a peachy blush (I used Flormar Pretty Compact Blush-On in P115) on the apples of your cheeks and highlight the cheekbones, middle of the nose and chin with a an off-white highlighter shade (I used Senna Spot Lites Highlighting Pencil).

today I want to show you a simple and quick look I did a few days ago, when my bf asked me if I wanted to go out at the last minute (don’t guys know women need time to get ready properly? lol ). To save time, I did something that I very rarely do: I used only one eyeshadow! I used Lakshmi Compact Eyeshadow in 02, a pretty grey shade, and I really like how it turned out, even though I did feel a bit naked. lol I’m just not used to wearing only one color on my eyes. I also didn’t have a lot of time to take the photos so that’s why not all of them have turned out that well but I hope you will like the look anyway. Here they are:

- Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the skintone (I used Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare) and follow with concealer (I used Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer) where needed (I used it to hide dark circles).
- Contour your cheekbones with a matte peachy brown blush (I used Sleek Makeup Blush in Suede) and add a pop of color to your cheeks with a peachy pink blush with gold shimmers (I used Milani Minerals Blush in Luminous).
- Apply a semi-opaque pink gloss (I used Senna Pearl Glow Lip Lacquer in Sunkiss) on your lips.

- Sweep a white shade (I used the one in the Sleek Makeup Safari palette) on the browbone to highlight.
- Line your upper lashline with a black pencil liner (I used Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye-Pencil in Zero) and apply mascara.
- Apply foundation or tinted moisturizer to even out the skintone (I used Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint in Bare) and follow with concealer (I used Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer) where needed (I used it to hide dark circles).

- Sweep a shimmering white shade (I used the one in the ELF Beauty Book Eye Brights Edition Palette) on the browbone to highlight.
- Line your upper lashline with a black pencil liner (I used the one in the ELF Beauty Book Eye Brights Edition Palette) and apply mascara.

today’s look didn’t turn out exactly as I had planned. I wanted to do a blue look, but once blended, the colors actually look grey. Oh well, I still like it. It’s bold, dramatic and perfect for a night out. Because the focus is on the eyes, I kept the rest of the face neutral. What do you think?
