Last Friday, Sugarpill has launched the latest palette in their “Heart” series. It’s called Heart Breaker and it features 4 vivid and bright matte eyeshadows:

2am: purple, matte with a slightly pearl sheen
Acidberry: vibrant green, matte with a slightly pearl sheen
Mochi: mint seafoam, matte with a slightly pearl sheen
Velocity: vibrant matte royal blue

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know how much I love bold, bright and colorful shades. And so you won’t be surprised to hear that, when I came across the Carnivale Collection on the Ulta website, I feel in love. Isn’t the palette really cool? It features 9 eye shadows, 1 cheek color, 1 lip color, 1 mini eye liner pencil and applicators. The packaging is so festive too! And the best part is that this palette is only $12.99!

If instead you’re a nail polish fanatic, fret no. Ulta has thought about you too and released also a Carnivale Nail Mini Set ($7.99), which features four feisty summer shades: It’s the Rio Deal (red cream), Masque-parade (purple soft shimmer), I Want Samba That (metallic lime green) and Cha Cha (butter yellow cream). I really love that green shade, but the others are pretty too.

Neve Cosmetics has just launched a new face palette that contains everything you need to contour, highlight and give a fresh and healthy flush to your face. Blushissimi features one highlighter, two bronzers and seven multi-use blushes in different shades and finishes, but all with a soft and easily blendable texture. The Body Shop has just launched three limited edition summer fragrances, inspired by the sun and sea. The fragrances are summer versions of three classic TBS scents: Love Etc…, Dreams Unlimited and White Musk.

Love Etc… Sunkiss is a fruity floral blend, with notes of bergamot, jasmine, neroli, sandalwood and amber. The result is a fruity floral scent, youthful and daring. Dreams Unlimited Sun Fresh is a frizzy floreal scent with delicious fruity notes. Reinvigorating and refreshing, it contains salty aquatic notes, tangerine, neroli and orris. Nars has partnered with fashion designer Thakoon Panichgul to create a stunning nail polish collection. Inspired by the vibrant colors found in Indian spice markets, the collection features six intense and bright shades in an opaque finish:

In May, Bond n.9 will launch a fragrance to celebrate both New York and mothers. I love New York For Mothers, the fifth fragrance in the I Love New York series, is a soft yet focused freesia-laden floral. It opens with notes of gentle freesia partnered with tangy tangerine; the enticing and soothing heart is a blend of heady jasmine sambac and lily; the drydown is a deeper and dark mix of amber, musk, and sandalwood. Did you know that New York is one of the top ten greenest places in all of the U.S.A.? Surprising, isn’t it? When we think of NYC we think of an asphalt jungle with its tall skyscrapers and crowded streets. But it also has lots of world-class community gardens and parks including Central Park, Washington Square Park and Bryant Park, the number of bike paths is growing, people are using public transport more and more and have starting recycling too! Actually, people living all over the New York State are demonstrating their commitment to preserving the environment.

I was just browsing the Ulta website, when I came across Pop Beauty Butterfly Bronzer Blush Sunblossom ($26.00) and fell in love with it. I just love the cute butterfly imprint. It’s so pretty, isn’t it? Almost too pretty to use lol.

Half face bronzer, half blush powder, this cute compact contains three honey bronze shades to warm up the complexion, and three pink shades to brighten the skin and remove dullness. The result is a natural and fresh complexion. Tempting isn’t it?
