A half moon is subtly illuminating the dark night sky, casting its shadow over the blooming garden. As she’s gently unlocking the door, trying not to make a sound, her nose picks up the intense and feminine aroma of Belle Nuit, which only blossoms in the darkness of the night, mixed with the slightest whiff of Indian rose.
Her steps are silent, carefully treading the path of light the moon carved out for her. It leads her to an orchard full of apricot and orange trees that revive the night with their zesty but sweet fruity aroma.
She’s almost there. She can hardly contain her excitement as she sneakily looks around. The night now smells of vanilla, amber, and musk. Sensual. Sultry. Romantic. Then, she sees him. They swiftly embrace, as their lips come together in a passionate kiss.
That’s the fantasy Ghost Deep Night always conjures up for me. Warm, dark, and woody, it’s the perfect scent to wear for a clandestine encounter with your lover. Or a romantic dinner with your significant other.
Packaged in a deep purple, moon-shaped bottle, Deep Night is one of those scents that make me feel sophisticated and grown-up, in a sexy kind of way.
You know what else feels good? I don’t have to reapply it during the day. Not even once. It’s that strong, but not overpowering.
But, when I want to intensify its smell, I’ll use it together with the matching Moisturizing Body Lotion. White in colour, it has a lightweight texture that sinks in quickly into the skin.
Unlike the fragrance, it doesn’t last all day on me. But that’s only because my skin is super dry. I’m pretty sure that in summer, when my skin is naturally more hydrated, this’ll perform much better. But when my skin is attacked by cold weather and hot showers, it needs something more moisturizing.
But I love its scent, so I sometimes use it in winter anyway. It’s soapier and lighter than the perfume, but absolutely lovely. It’s so different from your usual floral and fruity fragranced body lotions out there. With this, I feel like I’ve applied perfume, not a smoothie, to my skin!
You can now get them both the fragrance and body lotion together in the Ghost Deep Night Gift Set. It’d make a wonderful present for that girlfriend who’s tired of sweet perfumes that make her smell like a kid (hint: me! 😉 ). And, of course, it’s a fab treat for you too. 🙂

THE BOTTOM LINE
Pros: Warm and sophisticated scent; Scent is strong without being overpowering; Scent is longlasting; Lotion is lightweight and leaves skin soft and hydrated for a few hours.
Cons: If you like sweet, fruity floral scents, this isn’t for you; Lotion isn’t moisturising enough for dry skin.
Summary: Ghost Deep Night Gift Set features a warm and sophisticated scent and its matching body lotion. The scent is strong, without being overpowering, and lasts long. The lotion leaves my body soft and smooth, but it’s not hydrating enough for dry skin.
