Icaria, we have a high mark up on it here too and it sucks! Cosmetics cost so much more outside the US, it’s so unfair!

As pretty and as great of the new formulations BM has, their packaging is off-putting. It’s boring and while it may look pretty, it doesn’t look luxurious or glamorous and not cute enough to compete with Benefit or Too Faced (I don’t own much TF but I do own a handful of Benefit).
The only products BM puts out that interest me are their blushes and eyeshadows.
BUXOM, on the other hand, I LOVE. I love their lipsticks and lip glosses and twist-up lip crayons. They don’t show lip lines and in fact, minimize them and the lip glosses are hydrating and I love the cooling sensation on the lips.
BM has some really nice pigments but I’m not fond of how messy they get, especially if I want to use it every day.

Out of this collection, I like the lipstick best because of the packaging only.

Janessa, I like BM packaging, but I agree that, compared with brands like TF and Benefit, it is pretty boring. At this price point, they could put some more effort into it. Still, the formulas are the most important thing.

And thank you for introducing me to Buxom. Their products are lovely indeed. :)
