QOTW: What Beauty Products Are You Willing To Splurge On?

What beauty products are you willing to splurge on?

My answer: foundations and concealers. I have very pale skin, and most drugstore brands just don’t make base products in shades fair enough to match my skintone. I also don’t mind splurging on skincare products with retinoids. Of course, every now and the I’ll treat myself and indulge in an expensive lipsticks or blush too. 😉

Skincare. Although, I just discovered Retinol X and am having good results…bonus, it’s a bit cheaper. Which leaves me more to buy Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara. I received a sample and I’m addicted…just bought a new tube yesterday.

You are so right about how difficult it is to match light skin tones. Pain in the patoot!

Diane, good skincare is one of the few things that’s worth investing in, but it’s great that cheaper, but still effective, options are becoming more and more available, isn’t it? :)

Sunscreen, my skin is sensitive and theres no good mineral sunscreens available in my country. I must buy online and shipping charges tend to be high but it totally worth it cause without sunscreen using any other skin care treatment has no point.
In second place I would say a vitamin C serum, good formulas are expensive.

Alejandra, I agree. Sunscreen is the most important skincare product you can use, and it’s a shame that no good mineral sunscreens are sold in your country. They can really save lives and should be available anywhere and at cheap prices too!

Tine, some prices are crazy, aren’t that? But for that special foundation that’s just right for you, it is worth splurging on. :)
