elizabeth arden green tea energizing bath & shower gel

Name: Green Tea Energizing Bath & Shower Gel
Brand: Elizabeth Arden
Size: 16.8 fl. oz.
Price: $22.00

From Elizabeth Arden’s website:
Lavish yourself in the luxuriously refreshing scent of green tea. This deluxe size bath and shower gel features a softly foaming, soap-free formula that cleanses without stripping your skin of natural oils.

What I liked:
– cleanses skin well without drying it out
– pleasant, fresh and invigorating floral tea scent

What I didn’t like:
– the scent doesn’t last long
– the price

A morning shower is a great, and clean, way to start the day. It’s even better when you use a fresh and energizing shower gel that wakes you up and invigorates your senses, preparing your for the busy day ahead. One such product is Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Energizing Body & Shower Gel.

Its floral green tea scent, sprinkled with citrusy accents, smells clean, summery and fresh and will put you in the right mood to start the day. Sadly, it won’t remain with you till the end. Like the perfume, the shower gel smells lovely, but staying power is not one of its strongest points.

Green Tea Energizing Bath & Shower Gel has a gel-like texture that doesn’t really foam that well, but cleanses well. It removes all traces of dirt from skin, but without drying it out nor irritating it. It’s very gentle, and, after a shower, your skin is left soft (but not so soft that you can skip applying a lotion), clean and smelling wonderful.

Although I love this bath & shower gel, it is kinda hard to justify the $22.00 price tag, as it doesn’t really do anything that other shower gels won’t do. But if you’re a fan of uplifting tea scents and don’t mind to splurge on your bath or shower products, or even better, you find it on sale, then I think you will enjoy it.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Energizing Bath & Shower Gel has a fresh and invigorating, but short-lived, scent that will wake you up and put you in the right mood to start the day. It cleanses skin without irritating it, but it is expensive.

I can picture the scent already! I owned an Elizabeth Arden shower gel once and it smelled tea-like and refreshing. I don’t own any shower gels with scents that cling onto my skin. Some lush soaps have scents that linger but they’re too expensive for what they are since they melt and use up so quickly. I don’t mind that though because I use a body lotion or butter afterwards that’s sometimes scented. If my lotion isn’t scented, I spray on a fragrance. 😀

Speaking of body butters… I can’t wait to receive my Haus of Gloi ones. :]

Janessa, a nice tea scent can be really lovely. And that’s true. Most shower gel scents don’t last long, but you can always apply a scented lotion, body butter, deodorant or even spray on perfume afterwards. There are so many ways to smell good. :)

I hope you will receive your order soon!
