Do you match your makeup to the season?
My answer: nope, I wear whatever I want whenever I want. But I do tend to do simpler looks and use less products in the summer, when the weather is hot and humid.

Questa domanda l’avevo fatta anche io e rispondo come allora. Mi piace indossare make up colorato durante tutto l’anno, a prescindere dalla stagione. Più che altro vario molto con i rossetti. Scuri in inverno, freschi in primavera estate.

LaDamaBianca, ora che mi ci fai pensare anche io tendo ad indossare rossetti scuri prevalentemente in inverno. E’ rare che lo faccia d’estate. Ma per il resto, uso quello che voglio quando voglio.
I’m the same .. I may wear more make up in the winter .. maybe darker eye colors and lighter make up in the spring / summer.

Monica, wearing a lot makeup when it’s hot it’s not always a good idea, isn’t it? Simple, fresh looks are better imo.
I’m like you, I just wear whatever colours I feel like that day! I do probably wear less in summer if it’s warm, but I’ve never really paid attention.
Katie, I think we all tend to wear less, even if unconsciously, in the summer. When it’s that hot, piling on the makeup doesn’t really seem a good idea. Otherwise, let’s give free rein to our creativity!

Yes, you’re absolutely right. As I hate changing fashions and trends I don’t adapt my make up to the seasonal taste and temperatures. Don’t laugh but I also wear a full make up in summer when I feel like doing so.
Mylanqolia, I used to wear a full face in the summer too, but I stopped because I was tired of seeing it melting lol. I hope the same doesn’t happen to you. If it works for you, why not?
I tend to wear lighter formulas in the spring and summer or blot out heavier products like lipstick. I go for brighter lip colors.
In colder weather, I reach for plums and berries more.
The only product I don’t particularly match to the season is blusher. I love a lot of bright shades and rarely reach for darker colors due to my pale coloring.
Janessa, I think there are some shades we’re more drawn to during certain seasons (plums in fall and pastels in spring for instance), even if we don’t always do so consciously.
And I agree about dark blush colours. They are so hard to pull off when you have pale skin.
