It’s a shame that the Absolute Nude palette contains shimmer eyeshadows. I would have appreciated a complete matte one. Every brand can do neutral shimmer eyeshadows but matte ones still seem to be a challenge. But it annoys me that Cosnova discontinued the Infinite Matte make up. It was really good.
Mylanqolia, I agree. Good matte eyeshadows are so hard to find and it is a shame that when companies make them, they then discontinue them. I guess most drugstore consumers, being young, prefer shimmering textures to matte ones… Still, I hope to see more good matte shades around soon.
Urban Decay’s Naked Basics palette is nearly all matte (one shimmery shade as the highlight) but I LOVE it and I use it every day. I have pale coloring. Just wanted to recommend a matte palette.
Janessa, thank you for your suggestion. I’ve heard great things about that palette and I’m glad you like it too.
Looking at the photos, I’d easily try everything from this collection. Do I spy a mint eyeshadow?
Janessa, yep, you do.
It’s a lovely collection, isn’t it?
