BWB Needs You: Readers’ Feeback Survey

Hello everyone,

I’ve created a survey to know what you think about Beautiful With Brains, and I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few minutes of your time to fill it out. I really value your opinions and, with your help, I’ll better be able to figure out what works, what needs to be improved and what needs to go instead.

This way, I’ll be able to make visiting the blog a more enjoyable experience for you all. The survey is anonymous, so you can be as honest as you like, and constructive criticism is always very appreciated. After all, I can’t improve something if I don’t know it needs to be fixed.

Thank you!

LaDamaBianca, grazie. E spero che deciderai di rispondere al sondaggio. Le opinioni di tutte voi contano molto per me.

Great idea, this survey! Nice to see, that you wanna give time to your readers interests.
I’m really addicted to make up, but I still have no idea how to do my eyebrow make up. Maybe you and your follower can give me some good advices. I have so much questions!
Do you know some special brands for it and what kind of products do you use and why? What are the must-haves for eyebrow make up? How do you bring your eyebrows into shape?
Oh, it would be great if somebody can do (or even know) a helpful review or swatch about eyebrow make up.

TheNovelline, thank you so much for taking the survey. Your opinion means a lot to me.

I don’t really do much to my eyebrows as I like the way they naturally look, but Senna is a great brand for eyebrow products. Whenever I have a special occasion to attend, I use their Sketch A Brow Pencil (you can read the review here: to fill them in and shape them. I like it because the result is very natural and you don’t look like you have drawn your eyebrow on, as it often happens with this kind of pencils. They also have a Form-A-Brow Kit ( which is perfect for beginners as it includes everything you need for eyebrow makeup: three brow powders shades, two applicators, 4 stencils and step-by-step instructions.

If you’re on a budget, Sleek Brow Kit ( is also good. It includes a shaping wax, a setting powder, an angled brush, a blending brush and tweezers. The tweezers are too small and so useless but the rest of the products work really well, giving a nice shape and definition to your brows.

I hope this helps and I will try to write a post, or a series of posts, about eyebrow grooming soon, which will hopefully answer all your questions. Let me know if you have more and if you need more advice in the meantime. :)

Thanks for answering so fast, beautifulwithbrains! Your suggested product reviews are really inspiring to me. I don’t know yet, if I should start with a eyebrowpen or a more professional eyebrow kit. But I’m lucky to see, that you want to do some posts or reviews about eyebrow make up. I would preciate tutorials like “how to use a eyebrow kit” or “how to do the right eyebrow make up”. May you can give some advices on what one should pay attention doing eyebrow make up.

    Thanks for your help! :-)

TheNovelline, you are very welcome. I was thinking of doing a post comparing the products I’ve mentioned above, plus a couple more I have, to help people decide which one better suits their needs. I think I could include some tips in there too. And maybe I could do another post with a tutorial. What do you think about these ideas? Would they help you or are you looking for something else?

I’m so sorry for answering you right now. Your ideas are fantastic! I think it is a great idea to show some eyebrow products and compare them with each other. For the tutorial you could show how you do a eyebrow make-up and do and dont’s of eyebrow make-up, for example. There some possiblities to do with eyebrow make-up, I have even seen reviews, where they cut their eyebrows to give them the right shape?! I guess there are better ways to bring them in the right direction and form. :-) Thanks for your commitment, beautifulwithbrains.

TheNovelline, that’s ok. Just answer when you can, there’s no rush. I’m glad you like these ideas. I’ve published the comparison post today. I hope you will enjoy it and find it helpful. I will start writing the tutorial now, but it may take a little while to finish it as I would need to take quite a few photos. But it’s coming. :)

And cutting their eyebrows?! I hope that doesn’t mean what I think it means… lol. And you’re welcome. :)
