New Collection: Burberry Vintage Gold Holiday 2012

Hello everyone,

I’m not a big fan of neutral shades, but Burberry’s Vintage Collection for the holidays 2012 has captured my heart anyway. Maybe it’s the luxurious packaging, or the vintage textures, or the festive shades, which although neutral don’t look boring at all, but the collection screams holiday glamour and elegance, which I love. It doesn’t contain many pieces, but they are all drool-worthy!

Let’s see what Vintage Gold includes, shall we?

A luxurious palette that features four coordinated eyeshadows, in order of application for effortless eye definition. They all have a sheer but buildable, true-to-colour finish and a lovely, smooth texture. Available in six colour combinations, from pale nudes to darker shades: Smokey Grey No.01, Mocha No.02, Pale Nude No.03, Dark Spice No.05, Plum Pink No.06 and Pink Taupe No.07. These palettes are all permanent, so you don’t have to rush out to buy them straight away if you’re interested.

A gorgeous bag key chain inspired by the brand’s accessories collection. Inside the small cube that hangs from the chain is housed a Burberry Beauty Lip Glow in a glossy pink nude shade.

Available in Vintage Gold No.18, it’s a moisturizing and glittering lipgloss, perfect for the festive season.

What do you think of this collection? Love it? Hate it?

Vonvon, do you think so? I think a couple of the palettes in the second row have some lovely shades. But then I don’t have many neutral shades in my stash so that could be why I’m drawn to them.

I am still waiting for the day I can splurge on a Burberry makeup product! I’m too caught up with holiday sets at the moment to look at HE products. I want a bang for my bucks :D.

Janessa, holidays sets are such great deals, I can’t blame you for focusing on them! At least the Burberry palettes are permanent, so we can always save for one of them once the holiday season is over.
