Do you follow seasonal trends?
Beautiful with brains says: not really. I wear what I like and feel comfortable in. If I like a trend, then I’ll wear it, but I’ll keep doing so all year round.

Not really, no, but there are some things I’m drawn to during a certain season, and some colours simply look better in the sun/in artificial lighting.
Ana´s last [type] ..janinthepan:
Three Halloween costumes inspired by the artwork…
Ana, I agree. It’s the same for me too. I don’t think that’s following the trends though as we do it because we like it/looks better in certain conditions as opposed to wearing something just because it’s fashionable at the moment.
This year’s makeup trend is more about skin so I tend to apply foundation more carefully whenever I wear it. Otherwise, I just keep it simple

Dao´s last [type] ..September-October Apperances
Dao, that’s true. It’s all about good skin this season and that’s something we all want.
I always end on following seasonal trends in makeup, not all, not sistematically, but always. For instance now I’m obsessioned by berry lipsticks. It’s not because I have to be like the others but it’s because they often suggest me new and beautiful looks as I’m not very creative
Fiamma, seasonal trends can be very inspiring and if you like them, then why not?
Sometimes, but not always. Currently I am spotting the dark lip trend often for fall.
Vonvon´s last [type] ..Things I Bought With My Boots No7 £5 Vouchers & Some Inflation Ranting Along The Way!
Vonvon, I’ve noticed that too. I guess that’s always a very popular trend for fall.
nope! in fact never followed any trends before. will just use whatever works for me

xin´s last [type] ..Sun, Sea, Food & Massages: Come Tour Phuket with Me!
Xin, that’s what I do too.
More or less.
When in kimono, it is all about the seasons… and while there are generally 12 months, each with their own colours and symbols, there are 72 seasons on the old Japanese calendar. So then, I try to work with them.
In Western clothing, heck no. I’ll wear whatever I feel like that day! Sometimes purples and browns, sometimes reds and blacks, whatever I like. Today, I think metallic gold, turquoise, royal blue, + gunmetal glitter.
BebeTaian´s last [type] ..A Sneak Preview of Night in Tokyo 3
BebeTaian, wow, 72 seasons? That’s fascinating!
And I love your look for today. That would be such a pretty colour combination!
I rarely do. I prefer to go with what works for me. If some trendy colors or items suit me, fine but if not I’d rather skip. I don’t think this makes me less fashionable, just smarter in my choices. Still, I do enjoy seeing those who do follow them and can pull it off.
Icaria´s last [type] ..The Body Shop’s Cocoa Butter Body Lotion & Creamy Body Wash
Icaria, that’s a smart thing to do. There’s no point in following a trend if it doesn’t suit is.
most of the time no, unless i really like it and suits me then I’ll follow
money doesn’t come by easily, so I rather stick to the basics and classics, though that’s kinda boring ahahaha
plue´s last [type] ..Off To The Land of Smiles!
Plue, it may be considered boring, I guess, but some looks are timeless and always work so why not?
Nope! I do wear darker colors during the winter and brighter in the summer but I wear whatever I feel like. :]
Janessa, I agree. We should wear whatever we feel like. Sometimes that coincides with a trend and sometimes not, but the important thing is that we like it and feel comfortable in it.
