Laura Mercier is one of those brands I don’t pay much attention too simply because I find most of their shades to be basic and easily dupable. But I’ve fallen in love with the sets and palettes they’ve just released for the holidays. Don’t they look very pretty? I’d love to find one under my Christmas tree. Here’s the entire collection:

Their holiday sets never intrigued me enough to buy them over another brand’s. The mini baked eyeshadow trios from what I remember last year, were pretty tiny. There’s so many alternatives for inexpensive, quality makeup that I don’t feel this is interesting enough. Janessa, I see your point. Laura Mercier has never really intrigued me much but there’s something in this collection that it is really appealing to me. Maybe it’s because it’s a brand I never tried that I think these sets would be a great place to start and the colours are just right up my alley. I wish they had done something fancier with the packaging too though. The sets don’t really look all that festive at all.
Oh how did I miss this? Exactly what I need & available in my area. Do you know if the cake liner can be applied with water? The Warm Palette would be perfect me for every day use.

Icaria, it’s a beautiful collection, isn’t it? Yes, the cake liner can be used with water although, from the reviews I’ve read, that doesn’t work too well. The liner performs better if you use the Laura Mercier tightline activator.
