Name: 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil in Clash
Brand: Urban Decay
Size: 2.5g
Price: $20.00

From Urban Decay’s website:
They’re crease-proof, they’re waterproof… it’s the next generation of 24/7 Pencils! Our Shadow Pencils deliver incredible color payout, but feel lightweight. The new fat shape allows you to cover large areas more quickly. Use the thin tip as eyeliner, or the side of the tip as a generous swipe of eyeshadow.

What I liked:
- great color payoff, beautiful sparkly finish
- smooth and creamy texture, glides on smoothly without tugging
- can also be used as eyeliner and as a base to intensify the colour of powder eyeshadows

What I didn’t like:
- on oily lids, it creases within five minutes if you don’t apply it on top of a primer
- because it sets fast, blending can be difficult if you’re not quick enough

Some products, to work, need a little helping hand. That’s the case with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil in Clash, which was given me by the lovely Janessa (thanks!). When I applied this gorgeous and sparkling bright sky blue with silver shimmers (that looks very similar to Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Electric) on my bare lids, it creased and turned into an ugly mess within five minutes. Boo!

And then Too Faced Shadow Insurance came to the rescue. Applied on top of this primer, Clash stays put from morning till night, with no creasing nor smudging at all. The texture is really creamy, allowing the pencil to glide smoothly on the lid, without tugging. However, because it sets very fast, you have to be very quick with blending. Because of this, I prefer to apply it only on the lid or to use it as an eyeliner.

Although this little pencil is quite chubby, it’s still very easy to draw a thin line with it. And it can also be used as a base for powder eyeshadows to make them look more vibrant and bolder. And did I mention how good the colour payoff is? One stroke is enough to deliver an opaque and intense coverage, so the pencil will last you for ages.

Available at: amazon and ulta

Summary
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil in Clash is a sky blue shade with silver shimmers, exceptional colour payoff and a creamy and smooth texture that glides easily on the lids without tugging. However, it sets in very fast, making blending difficult if you’re not super quick and, on oily lids, it creases within a few minutes if you don’t use a primer underneath.

Rating: 3.5/5

Aw you’re welcome! :] It makes me so happy just to be mentioned and I’m glad you enjoy the makeup. I have a list of makeup kits I’m going to buy this year and split them up into individual goodie bags. I just checked Sephora Italy’s website and you guys have the same digits we do for prices, but in Euros! :o
Which item interests you most? I have a friend who only wears black eyeliner and mascara so I’m going to pick up this kit and give her some of the eyeliners from it. :] I don’t use liner so guess where the rest goes?? To friends! :D

Janessa, thanks a lot for sending it to me. I love the pencil, the colour is so beautiful.

What a lovely idea and that’s so nice of you, you are a star. Your friends are really lucky. ;)

I know, makeup costs so much here. Brands just change the currency sign and so we get charged a lot more, it’s so unfair!

Mmm that’s a hard question. I just love all types of makeup products. Colourful eyeshadows and pink glosses maybe are my favourites, but I would just try anything really. I’m always experimenting with some new shade or texture..
