Name: Pure & Clear Purifying Daily Facial Wash
Brand: Nelsons
Size: 125ml
Price: £7,85

From Nelsons’ website:
Nelsons Pure & Clear® Purifying Daily Facial Wash thoroughly cleanses away impurities, restoring skin to its natural radiance and beauty by helping diminish the visible appearance of blemishes.

What I liked:
- gentle but effective, leaves skin squeaky clean and soft
- feels very refreshing
- the packaging

What I didn’t like:
- if you don’t like the smell of Tea Tree Oil, you may not like this
- some people may find it pricey

Do you have oily skin that’s prone to breakouts and blemishes and are looking for a gentle facial wash that leaves skin squeaky clean without drying it out? Then look no further than Nelsons Pure & Clear Purifying Daily Facial Wash.

Formulated with two of the gentles surfactants used in skincare products, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate and Cocamidropropyl Betaine, this facial wash removes all traces of dirt, makeup and other impurities without stripping skin of its natural oils, leaving it clean and soft.

Nelsons Pure & Clear Purifying Daily Facial Wash should be massaged into damp (not wet!) skin twice a day, and then rinsed off. The gel-like texture is quite gloopy and is a pleasure to use. Although it doesn’t foam much, it feels very refreshing. The only thing that was bothering me at first was the strong, but not offensive, Tea Tree Oil scent, but after a while I got used to it.

This facial wash is packaged in a sleek and simple tube with the image of a leaf on it. The opening is just the right size, making it easy to control of the amount of product that comes out. And you only need a little bit for each application, so the tube will last you for a long time.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Polysorbate 20, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate (Vegetable source), Cocamidropropyl Betaine (Coconut source), Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan Seaweed) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Arnica Montana (Arnica) Extract, Benzyl Alcohol, Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Extract, Hypericum Perforatum (Hypericum) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Limonene (Essential oil source), Citrus Gradis (Grapefruit) Oil, Linalool (Essential oil source), Citrus Aurantium Amara (pettigrain) Oil.

Available at: amazon and boots

Summary
Nelsons Pure & Clear Purifying Daily Facial Wash is a gentle but effective facial wash designed for people with oily and blemish-prone skin. It removes all traces of dirt without drying skin out, leaving it soft and clean. However, the strong Tea Tree Oil scent may put some people off.

“Do you have…? Well, look no further..” I was picturing some silly guy on TV doing an advertisement as I read that! :P Not only do I believe every word you say because you’re so smart and honest, but you prove your claims with the ingredients and none of your reviews are text-book-like and dulled by facts. I find it very important to be able to control the amount of product I want, and you mentioning that is brilliant in a review.

Janessa, lol. And thank you. I think it’s important to give you all the info without bogging the reviews down with unnecessary facts and I hope I achieve that. :)
