Pupa is one of my favourite Italian brands. I’ve been using it since I was a teenager beginning to experiment with makeup. The first Pupa product I used was one of their whimsical palettes, which contained everything a young girl could possibly need to learn to apply makeup.
Then, over the years, I began trying the products from their permanent line. They are on the pricey side, but the quality is amazing. Rarely has the brand disappointed me, but there are some products that have impressed me more than the others and to which I keep returning again and again. Curious to know what products they are?

Pupa Luminys Baked Blush (€17,70)
This is one of my favourite blushes ever. The color payoff is really amazing, so it needs to be applied with a light hand, especially if you have pale skin like me. It provides a beautiful pop of colour and a nice sheen that lasts all day. And the soft and fine texture is so easy to blend! The only con is that it is available in only 4 shades. I need more!

Pupa Professionals Smoothing Foundation Primer (€29,70)
I have tried a lot of face primers, but I always keep coming back to this one. Its texture feels like silk. It’s a pleasure to apply and makes your skin feel silky soft and smooth. It also prepares it for makeup, ensuring it stays put for the entire day, and helps to temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines and other imperfections. However, some people may not like that it’s silicone-based.

Pupa Vamp! Mascara (€15,50)
Looking for a mascara that provides the false lashes look without the hassle? Then try Pupa Vamp! Mascara. Available in six shades, it provides volume, length and definition with just one coat. The hourglass-shaped wand coats every lash with an intense black colour that doesn’t budge for the entire day. It clumps a bit when you add more than one coat, but then there’s really no reason to apply a second one anyway.

Pupa Diva’s Rouge Lipstick (€13,90)
Pupa Diva’s Rouge Lipstick will really make you feel like a diva! This intensely pigmented lipstick has a creamy and moisturizing texture that glides smoothly on the lips without drying them out. And it only needs to be retouched after meals!

Pupa Lasting Color (€5,95)
The review I linked to above refers to the old formula but the new one is just as good. The nail polishes inside these cute little bottles have great color payoff, a beautiful shine, a lovely formula that’s a dream to work with and last almost a week!
Have you bought anything from Pupa? If so, what products are your favourites?

Oh that amazing brand used to be very popular -and available here in Egypt in the 70′s & 80′s ..Sadly , I can only get it online now
..and only a few things…I wish to find more reviews about their very unique pallettes (e.g those ones with roses , vanity shapes…etc) as I plan on buyibg one of them ..but they are on the pricy sides , so I wanna minimise my risks ..any suggestions ???
Meshmesha, oh what a shame Pupa is not easily available in Egypt anymore. Those palettes though are very gimmicky. The packaging is beautiful, but the shades inside are very sheer. Personally, I would only recommend them to teenagers who are only starting to get into makeup and who aren’t allowed to wear much makeup. If you still want to get one, I’d say buy a small one so that, even if you are disappointed by the poor pigmentation, you won’t have wasted a lot of money.
