Hello everyone,

wanna see what Paul & Joe has in store for us for the holidays? I feel really weird calling this a collection because it’s really small. There are only 3 sets available, but they are all absolutely gorgeous! Truth be told, I find the actual shades quite boring, although easily wearable. But what has drawn me to this collection is the packaging. It’s so adorable, don’t you think? I’d love to receive one of these sets for Christmas, they would make some great gifts. Here’s more information:

MAKEUP COLLECTION HOLIDAY 2012 FROZEN LILAC ($65.00)
The set contains:
#001 Face Powder Kiss of Snow: an ultra-light and translucent powder that provides a soft matte finish with a touch of dazzling shine.
#001 Creamy Cheek Powder Frozen Lilac: it provides a rosy, warm hue to the cheeks.
A cute Unicorn Printed Pouch.

MAKEUP COLLECTION HOLIDAY 2012 SLEIGH RIDE ($65.00)
The set includes:
#001 Face Powder Kiss of Snow: an ultra-light and translucent powder that provides a soft matte finish with a touch of dazzling shine.
#002 Creamy Cheek Powder Sleigh Ride: a pretty peachy tone
A cute Unicorn Printed Pouch.

EYE COLOR & LIP BALM SET ($60.00)
This cute set includes:
#001 Glistening Eye Color in Winter Wonderland: sparkling white and shimmery brown shade
#001 Smoky Eye Color in Winter Wonderland: it creates the ultimate sultry eye by adding glittering black powder and pearl particles to a matte base, making it both muted and glossy.
#001 Lip Balm: with hints of fruity floral and spearmint, this punchy pink balm leaves lips supple and plump.

The collection will be released in November. What do you think of it?

Paul and Joe have such cute makeup designs! I can’t believe the eyeshadow and lip balm set is $60. They’re probably planning on making it go on an after-holiday-sale or something. They better be because there are so many cheaper alternatives out there. $60 can get you a whole eyeshadow palette especially the holiday blockbuster sets with blush, eyeshadow, lipgloss, and eyeliner for about $60.
Cute packaging only goes so far! I’d rather buy a squirrel plush if I were so obsessed with squirrels lol.

Janessa, I see your point. I’m not really sure why some brands price their products so high. I guess they’re doing it because the products are LE and the packaging cute, yet not everyone will want to pay so much just for that. But we can still dream by looking at them can’t we?
