What it is
Eicosapentaenoic Acid is a fatty acid derived from salmon oil.

What it does
Eicosapentaenoic Acid is an emollient that makes skin soft and smooth.
In addition, it inhibits collagen decrease induced by UV light, and may be helpful in treating psoriasis thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Side effects
Eicosapentaenoic Acid is generally considered to be safe.

I looked up psorasis and people with with it have “thick, red skin with flaky, silver-white patches called scales.” Sounds to me that the salmon is treating salmon! :D
Such a hard word to say. I wish there were a website that had the pronunciation for all the science words, not the written pronunciation, but the oral.
