Name: Pink Bouquet Bath & Shower Gel
Brand: Bronnley

From the packaging:
Our luxurious bath and shower gel contains natural Witch Hazel to help moisturise and protect the skin.

What I liked:

– rose scent smells wonderful and feminine
– pretty packaging

What I didn’t like:
– scent doesn’t hang around long
– the price

Scented with the fragrance of roses, Bronnley Pink Bouquet Bath & Shower Gel is a wonderful pampering treat after a long day’s work. Just fill up the bath tub, pour in the bath & shower gel, get in and let the scent of roses in full bloom envelop you. It’s so relaxing and it will make you feel like you’re bathing in a lake with rose shrubs all around you. Pure bliss.

I have a love/hate relationships with rose scents but this one is just lovely. It’s natural and simple, dainty and dewy and with the subtlest soapy accents. It’s a very feminine scent, and quite subtle too. You’ll smell gorgeous once you’ve finished your bath (or shower), but sadly the scent won’t hang around very long.

Bronnley Pink Bouquet Bath & Shower Gel is transparent in colour, foams nicely and cleanses skin well, removing all traces of dirt. It’s quite gentle on the skin and, although I wouldn’t call it moisturizing, it’s doesn’t dry nor irritate skin either. The gel is housed in a cute pinkish bottle with a small opening that only pours out the amount of product you need for each shower/bath. As a result, none gets wasted, which is a great thing, especially when you consider that, at €13,00, it isn’t cheap.

Xin, the scent is really lovely, and it shades a shame it fades quickly. It’s good to know L’Occitane shower gels last more, I will check them out, thanks.

No scent is appealing to me right now. The only one I seek is Seville A L’Aube. I must have it! 😀 Oh, Gio! Look at all the greatness you’ve done haha.

Janessa, lol. Seville A L’Aube is just amazing. If you love oriental, orange blossom scents you’re gonna love it. 😉 Let me know what you think of it if you try it. :)

Now a comment related to this review: The packaging is so pretty and girly. I occasionally like products like that because they’re so fun to use. I think rose scents can smell so wonderful but sometimes they’re cloying.

Janessa, I agree about rose scents sometimes being cloying, which is why I have a love/hate relationship with them. But this one isn’t at all so I love it. :) And the packaging is very girly indeed.

I’m wondering where to buy it! It’s $165 at Lucky Scent and I’m wondering if that’s how much it retails for or whether it’s more expensive on LS’s website.

AHH I’m thinking about it all the time. I emailed the L’Artisan company but I received no reply yet.

I’m afraid that’s the retail price in the US. I’ve seen the scent on another website and it was $165 too. I do think it’s overpriced in the USA unfortunately. It’s one of the best scents I’ve ever tried, but I think you should try and get a sample first to see how you like it.

Okay thanks, Gio! I’m not going to get a sample, I’m getting the full-size haha. I just know I will like it, it sounds so magical from the way you describe it. My mom’s friend is going to France this month and I asked her to help me pick it up while she’s there.

            • beautifulwithbrains says

It really is and I hope you will love it too. 😉 And that’s very nice of her, I hope she has a great time in France. :)
