Hello everyone,
today I have a guest post for you. Vanessa is gonna teach us how to make our own natural lipgloss. Enjoy!
Natural Lip Gloss And How To Make It
I’m the kinda girl who prefers to keep my pout pash-worthy which is why I love experimenting with new lip colours, products, and even scents.
However, I sometimes struggle to find a good lip gloss that gives me the look I want but isn’t packed full of chemicals, dyes, and other bad-for-you ingredients that I might not even know about. Which is why I have become obsessed with making my own lip gloss.
Now I still have to figure out how to get the colours I crave but I have discovered a healthy, natural clear lip gloss recipe that can be used as a starting point for you to then experiment with.
So let’s get to it…
DIY Lip Gloss
The best part about this recipe is not only is it natural and easy to make but damn is it cheap!
All you have to do is mix:
1 teaspoon of fresh aloe vera gel (the freshest can be found by slicing open an aloe vera leaf and scraping out the gel)
1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil
1/8 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
A few drops of your favourite essential oil such as vanilla, lavender, rose, peppermint, or even lime
Give this bad boy a stir until your ingredients are well combined, scoop it into a clean, dry container, spread onto your lips and enjoy!
Increase the measurements as much as you like to make even more lip gloss and add different scents to really mix things up.
Not only is this a seriously simple recipe to make but it’s ingredients will help to infuse natural moisture into your lips, cure any cracking, and protect against future chapping, not to mention keep those lips smoochable.
Ahhh Mother Nature, she really does know how to make a mean beauty treatment.

I used to watch this Youtuber chef who would call the food “bad boys” and would say something like, “Let’s cook this bad boy up!” :] So reading that in your post made me laugh! I’m going to try this! I want to use aloe vera from a fresh leaf. I’m going to hunt for one. *brings rifle and hunting boots*
Janessa, lol. I’m glad you enjoyed the post. It’s a wonderful recipe, you’ll love it.
