Name: Vamp! Mascara
Brand: Pupa
Size: 9g
Price: €11,90

From Pupa’s website:
Vamp! mascara makes your eyelashes look just as spectacular as fake lashes, without having the bother to wear them. Stroke after stroke, volume gets exaggeratedly oversize, for thick, full and ultra dense lashes. The result? Striking, no doubt about it! With unbeatable hold and no smudging.

What I liked:
- the creamy and dense formula doesn’t weight lashes down
- hourglass-shaped wand makes application easy
- provides lots of length and a nice amount of volume
- wands separates lashes well
- longlasting, no smudging nor flaking
- sleek packaging

What I didn’t like:
- starts clumping when you apply a second coat
- doesn’t curl lashes

I love how false lashes drastically enhance your look but I just don’t have the patience to apply them every day. So, I’m always on the lookout for a mascara that delivers that dramatic, “false lashes” look without the hassle. It’s not an easy search. A lot of volumizing mascaras either don’t work, or add volume by clumping lashes together, or do work but are terribly expensive. As a result, I’m still searching for my HG mascara, but now I’ve found one that comes very close to it: Pupa Vamp! Mascara.

Available in six shades, from the classic black, to a more softer brown for daytime wear to playful blue, green and purple hues that add a summery pop of colour to your look, Pupa Vamp! Mascara has a creamy and dense formula that doesn’t weight lashes down. And it is easy to apply thanks to the hourglass-shaped wand, which easily reaches even the tiniest of lashes.

One coat is enough to provide incredible length and quite a big of volume. The wand is also great at separating lashes. As a result, lashes look defined, thicker and a lot longer. The mascara starts clumping a bit when you add a second coat but I rarely do that anyway as one is more than enough to give my lashes the dramatic look I want.

If my lashes look a bit clumped together in the swatch below, it’s not the mascara’s fault, but of my very poor skills at applying it. Still, in real life, they look well-defined and dramatic. In fact, I love the effect so much I can’t stop looking at them in the mirror lol.

Once on, the mascara just doesn’t budge. It doesn’t flake nor smudge and stays put from morning till night, or until you decide to remove it, which is quite easy to do. The only thing this mascara doesn’t do is curl lashes, but then it doesn’t promise to so I can’t say I was too disappointed about it. Overall, this is one of the best volumizing mascaras I’ve tried and I’ll definitely repurchase it again and again.

Summary
Pupa Vamp! Mascara in Extra Black has a hourglass-shaped wand that easily reaches each lash, coating it with a dark black pigment that doesn’t budge for the entire day. It adds volume and incredible length to lashes and separates them too for a defined and dramatic, but not over-the-top look. However, it clumps a bit when you apply more than one coat and doesn’t curl lashes.

Rating: 4.5/5

When your lashes look good, it’s definitely hard to stop looking in mirrors LOL! I know the feeling. I think the packaging looks really great, and the effect is beautiful too.

Makeup Morsels, it makes lashes look great, doesn’t it? And with only one coat too! The packaging is very sleek as well.
