Do you prefer body butters or body lotions?
Beautiful with brains says: body butters. Most body lotions just aren’t moisturizing enough for my very dry body skin. Body butters instead keep my skin soft, smooth and hydrated for the entire day. Mu favourites are from The Body Shop. They have so many flavours to choose from, and they are all so delicious!

Body butters in the winter, body lotions in the summer, if anything.
Mmm, Body Shop’s Mango Body Butter… I have to pry myself from it in the shops so as I don’t start drooling over it

Ana, I agree that body butters are best suited for winter, and lighter lotions for summer. But my dry skin craves butters even now that’s really hot lol. I tend to go with the body butters designed for normal skin though in the summer cos they’re a bit lighter. And that Mango one is so delicious! It’s hard to resist indeed.
I hear you about the dry skin – sometimes I feel like I’m going to crack and I begin seriously contemplating bathing in oil XD .

Ana, I feel like that all the time lol.
Body lotion for convenience (the pump) but body butter for the rich texture and yummy scents. I usually use a body lotion that’s on the thicker side though. It works well enough for me during the summer but I layer a body butter on top for winter.
Janessa, lotions are more practical to use indeed. And it’s nice that you found one that’s rich enough too.
hmm I love the pampering feel of body butters, so I try to save them for those nights when I’m feeling a little tired
Body lotion is more of an everyday, don’t even think about it type of thing. Which means I need both!

Makeup Morsels, they both have their uses, don’t they? And body butters are such pampering treats indeed.
I would say that it depends on the season. I like butters and creams but not when it’e very hot.

Marina, I agree that butters are more suitable for winter. But my dry skin loves them all year round lol.
