Is concealer a must?
Beautiful with brains says: for me, yes. I have very bad dark circles, which are genetic, so I need a concealer to hide them. But if you’re blessed with flawless skin, then no, a concealer is not really necessary.

Same as you – concealer is the most versatile product, and apart from hiding dark circles, it can also give you a flawless look in just a few minutes, without using any other makeup, as it brightens and contours as well

Eli, that’s true. It’s a very useful and versatile product indeed.
Same as you: I have really bad dark circles and without concealer I look tired and not-so-healthy. Unfortunately, the one I’m using now (Benefit Erase Paste) is too greasy and with summer hot weather it smudges in a minute.

La Bisbetica, what a shame. It’s really hard to find a cover that completely covers that dark circles. Erase Paste does a very good job but the texture is so thick that it’s not that suitable for summer…
I think I have really bad undereye circles too but it’s because I lack orbital bone and it makes me have under eye bags :[. I don't use concealer because I rarely break out and if I do, it's a tiny dot or so. I just don't want to tug on my skin every day when I'm not in any important profession or I'm not going on television haha. I will use concealer for fun nights out or when I occasionally feel like it. :]
Janessa, you’re lucky you rarely break out. I don’t think you’ll harm your skin if you’ll pat on the concealer gently, but if you don’t feel you need to, that’s fine.

I’m not blessed with flawless skin and I do suffer from dark under eye circles but I do get away sometimes without concealing because I’m too lazy! hehehe I like using foundation as concealer though, as the texture isn’t as dry as I suffer from really dry skin!

Nikki. hehe. I think some foundations can double up well as concealers too so you don’t have to apply both products.
I agree that it really depends on a person. I personally don’t use concealer or foundation on a daily basis

And I agree. It’s an useful and versatile product but not everyone needs to use it daily.
