Hello everyone,
we all have a few things we’d like to tell our favourite (or not-so favourite) brands: how much we like or dislike a product, how we wish they’d open a store in our town or improve their shade selection, or explain why their prices are so high… Well, here’s you’re chance to do it. Feel free to write your letter (or two, or three..) in the comments. You’ll feel better afterwards and you may find out that other people share your same thoughts.
Here are mine:
I love your Luminys Baked Blushes! They are some of the best I’ve ever tried. Their lightweight texture feels so smooth to the touch and glides on effortlessly on the cheeks. I need to apply them with a light hand because they are so pigmented, but I love the natural flush they give to my cheeks, and the shimmers are so fine they provide a nice glow without turning me into a discoball. But why are there only four shades available? And 3 of them are neutral too! They’re nice and all, but what about women who like to wear peachy, pink and mauve blushes instead? I know that you sometimes release a new shade in a LE collection, but it sells out so quickly not many will have the chance to buy it. Please, Pupa, release more permanent and varied blush shades so that more people can enjoy them all year round.
thanks for creating my HG cleanser, Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. This stuff is amazing! It removes everything – all traces of dirt, impurities and even waterproof makeup – really quickly and effectively, yet it feels so gentle on the skin and leaves it so soft. And I love how bright my skin looks afterwards thanks to the exfoliating action of the washcloth. Even though I sometimes stray, I always come back to you. No other cleanser can compare, they don’t even come close. Now, if only you could open more stores worldwide so that even those who don’t live in Europe can buy it easily without having to paying very high shipping costs, that would be awesome..
please, please, please, can you reformulate your Soft Touch Shadow Pencils? You release a new one in every collection and every time I fall in love with the shade only to be disappointed by how little it lasts on the lids! These babies crease like crazy in no time! And you’re charging $24.00 for them (and they’re even pricier in Europe!)? That’s outrageous! You can’t seriously think these pencils work! They keep getting a bad review after another, and for a good reason! So, please fix them, will you?

In effetti secondo me come idea ci sta!
Dear Korres,
I love your Yoghurt Cooling Gel but please don’t change the packaging, the pump is sturdy and sanitary. Your body butters are so lovely but you’ve doubled your price within the last 3 years and while all prices have been increasing, that’s a bit ridiculous. Your lipbutters have gone from $9 to $12 and you used to be a natural yet affordable brand with nice packaging but not so much anymore. I used to buy your products on their own but now I’m only purchasing them when they’re in kits.
Dear Chanel,
I splurged on one of your glossimers months back. I’ve kept it upright in my vanity and loved you enough to bring you on a trip. With a little pressure, your black cap has cracked on me. It’s not broken but I can’t bring you anymore. Your glossimers don’t age well either and seem to turn goopy. So much product is stuck on the wand too. For such an expensive product, I’d expect better performance.
Dear Bobbi Brown,
I love your products but the new packaging and cutting down on 2/3 the product is crazy. Same with your glitter shadows. Your blotting papers work as well as toilet seat covers. Really, now?
Dear Bare Escentuals,
I love your BUXOM lipglosses and have bought them individually. Your eyeshadows (loose and newer pressed ones) are phenomenal. Super pigmented and a dream to apply and the intensity stays throughout the day. I love your frequent sales and gift sets and you’re a brand that I don’t hesitate to buy products individually (full-price/full-size) from. Might I also add that your BUXOM lash mascara is my favorite in the world and I have gone through six tubes of them?

Janessa, I love your letters!
You really made me curious to try more things from Bare Escentuals, but I don’t have a counter near me. Need to write all these products down so when I have the chance to go to one I can stock up.
And that’s no cool re Bobbi Brown and Kors. Everything is becoming so expensive lately, isn’t it? And cutting down on products is a huge no-no, especially if you don’t cut down the prices as well which they never do…
Gosh, thanks!
You don’t have to write any of them down. I’ll make you a list of the products I really really like though you don’t even need my list… you know why? ;D Hahaha
Aww thanks hun!
Great post, Giorgia! :]

Janessa, thank you!
That’s what I call the real consumer feedback! You’ve done it well, I hope they will read your letters and make the changes you’ve suggested. Inspired by your case, I think I should write some letters, too:)

Socialite Dreams, not yet but maybe I should.
The Nars pencils are really awful, aren’t they? They’ve been out for ages and I can’t believe Nars hasn’t done anything about them yet. Haven’t they noticed how much and how soon they crease?!
hahaha I always love your letters to brands! They’re spot-on. Here are mine, kept them rather short and simple
Dear Liz Earle,
I love you. I love you a lot. Please open a bunch of stores in the US.
Dear Shu Uemura,
I love you a lot too. Please come back to America.
that’s all for now

Makeup Morsels´s last [type] ..Taipei Hauling: Beauty Edition
Makeup Morsels, thanks. I’m glad you like them. And I love yours, they’re straight to the point and spot-on. I hope these brands will open stores in the US soon too.
Dear Tree Hut
You make flipping amazing body scrubs but you don’t sell them outside the US – why is that? They are so heavy to carry them home and my baggage this time was very limited. Also I had to go to five different Walmarts to find your Hawaiian Kukui Shower Gel! I’m dedicated but others would have given up! Can you please make it easier to purchase your products!
Many thanks

Annabella, wow, that is dedication! Don’t you just hate it when great brands are so hard to find? I hope they’ll listen to you and become more easily available.
