Name: Glo Face & Body Highlighter in Bronze Baby
Brand: Sleek Makeup
Size: 8.2g
Price: €10,00

From Sleek Makeup’s website:
5 complimentary glowing strips of powder available in 3 shade variants which can be applied to the face and body to give the skin a shimmering, naturally glowing and sunkissed look. Softly run the enclosed brush over the bars and dab on desired parts of the body where the light hits. These may inlcude your cheekbones, forehead, brow bones, shoulders, back or chest.

What I liked:
- very pigmented
- provides a beautiful and natural glow to skin
- good staying power
- finely-milled, soft texture, easy to blend
- the packaging
- the price

What I didn’t like:
- you need to use a very light hand, or it will make your skin look very shiny

Sleek Makeup Glo Face & Body Highlighter has had a makeover. The brand has removed the useless brush (but kept the mirror) from the sturdy compact, which now has a square shape (it used to be rectangular) that’s more travel-friendly. I tried the old version in Peach Shimmer a couple of years ago and didn’t like it much simply because it was way too pigmented for my fair skin, but Bronze Baby is a lot more flattering on me and I’m completely in love with it.

Bronze Baby contains 5 stripes of color – off white, pale pink, muted gold, pale copper and bronze – that can be used separately or together to highlight your cheekbones, forehead, brow bones, shoulders, back, chest and wherever else the light hits. When swirled together, the overall color is a beautiful peachy gold. All the shades are very pigmented so you will have to use them with a light hand or your skin will look very shiny, which is never a good look, especially if you have oily skin.

But if applied carefully, it’ll highlight your complexion beautifully, giving it a natural and glossy glow. The darker shades would work well as an overall bronzer for that sunkissed glow and, because of how pigmented the colors are, you could use them as eyeshadows as well! Although flattering on fair-skinned beauties, I think it would suit those with a darker complexion even better and, in the summer, it will beautifully enhance your tan. And although Peach Shimmer did accentuate my pores, the same didn’t happen with Bronze Baby.

The texture is very finely milled, not powdery at all, and so soft to the touch. It goes on smoothly, blends easily too and it is so lightweight that you feel you have nothing on. Staying power is good too. It lasts about 8 hours on my dry cheeks and body, but it starts fading after only 6 on my oily t-zone. A good face primer will make it last a couple more hours though.

Mi piacciono molto i prodotti strutturati in questo modo. Belli i colori così luminosi che risultano anche multiuso.

Pretty! I’ve NEVER tried any Sleek items before but I’ve heard and wanted to try their makeup for at least 2 yrs. Sigh. I’m going to get some of their eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, and everything! As I was scrolling down the page, I though “GLO” said “GIO” haha!

Janessa, you have to try some Sleek products, they’re amazing! You’ll love the palettes and don’t forget to try their blushes too, they’re so pigmented but blend really easily. :)
