DIY Beauty: Avocado And Carrot Facial Mask For Dry Skin

Avocado and carrots are not only tasty and healthy to eat, they also make a wonderful moisturizing treatment for dry and mature skin when blended together. Avocados contains Vitamins A, D and E, while carrots are rich in antioxidants and beta carotene that will nourish and soften your skin. And the mask is so easy to make as well. Here’s how:

– 1 mashed avocado
– 1 boiled and mashed carrot
– 1 egg
– 1/2 cup of heavy cream
– 2 tablespoons of honey
– 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil (optional)

Start by scrubbing and peeling the carrot, then boil it for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, peel the avocado as well. Next, put the cooked carrot, avocado, honey, heavy cream and olive oil in a blender. Combine them all together until you get a creamy and smooth mixture. Now it’s time to apply the concoction on your clean face. Wait 15 minutes and then rinse it off.
