I have the same answer as you, Gio! Not only am I the biggest beauty person of everyone I know, I’m pretty much the only one. I live in a city where most women don’t wear any makeup at all. I’m in the minority here.
But, that’s okay. It’s just one more thing that makes me special.

Trisha, most women don’t wear makeup here either and I have always wondered what that is. I don’t expect anyone to wear a full face of makeup of course, but when I travel I see that most women wear makeup and it’s only here they don’t lol. I agree with you, though, that makes us special.

Amongst my beauty blogging friends I don’t think I am. Among friends I have grown up with, yes. I think none of them have more than one of each makeup item

Paris, my friends are the same. They have only the minimum necessary amount of makeup but don’t often use even that! lol. But it’s great that, thanks to blogging, we have made lots of friends who are share our same passion.
I am definitely the biggest beauty addict among my friends. I can say that I am one of the biggest makeup addicts at my school. I haven’t seen or know anyone who actually researches and keeps up to date with new launches and trends or can walk to a counter and know the top sellers. Haha I love this question so much! I always wanted a makeup obsessed friend in real life but I have yet to find one. Until then, online will do. :]
Janessa, it seems that most of us don’t have any beauty addict friends. It’s a shame really but at least we have met lots of people online we can share our love of beauty with.
Yes! It feels lonely though! My female colleagues hardly bother with any makeup and I sometimes feel I have gone overboard even though my make up is considered muted and work appropriate…

JackieA, I know exactly how you feel. I get strange looks when I wear looks that I think are work appropriate as well.. and yes, it feels lonely sometimes. At least I used to until I started blogging. Now I can connect with lots of like-minded people.

Swati, that’s a shame isn’t it? I don’t expect everyone to wear a full face of makeup, but having at least a basic skincare routine is so important. It can really make a lot of difference in how you look.
I’m definitely the most obsessed out of my friends. Maybe some online friends are just as obsessed though?

ohh yeah, I most definitely am. I do have friends who are into makeup, even friends who are really into makeup, but I think there’s a difference between people who like makeup/pretty things and beauty bloggers LOL. Plus most of my friends don’t care much about skincare or perfume…and look at me like I’m nuts when I start talking about those things

And you definitely need to love beauty A LOT to start a blog, so it’s no surprise really that we often are the biggest addict in our group of friends lol. 
Certainly – again, probably the only one! When my friend met me one day after I’d just gone back to work she said (very accusingly) – “Are you wearing MAKEUP???”. Also my family aren’t really ‘into’ makeup (apart from my 16 year old daughter). It’s very strange, but I’ve found that people DO treat me differently when I wear some makeup – more inclined to chat, and I’m sure that shop assistants give me more respect – strange, as I’m the same person, surely?
Viv, it is really strange and interesting what a bit of makeup can do really, isn’t it? It can really transform a person and they way others see you and respond to you…
