What I didn’t like:
- only lasts three days without a top coat
Don’t you just hate it when online stores provide inaccurate swatches? You order a particular shade because you think it is simply gorgeous and, once it is finally in your hands, you realise that it is nothing like you had thought it’d be. And not in a good way. That’s exactly what happened when I got MeMeMe Nail Collection Long Lasting Gloss in Ambitious (what a mouthful!).
I though Ambitious would be a beautiful and feminine pink but, instead, it turned out to be a nudish pink. Actually on the nails, it looks more brown that pink, which is why I don’t like this color much. I’m just not a big fan of brown/nude shades really. However, because Ambitious is a very safe, wearable and office-friendly shade that would be suitable for any occasion, I think it may appeal to a lot of people.
The formula is wonderful. A bit on the thick side maybe, but it still applies really easily and without streaks, also thanks to the wide brush (yes, the fancy maxi brush technology, as the company calls it, is just a simple wide brush) that covers the entire nail in only one or two strokes. One coat is enough for an opaque coverage (although you can always add a second one if you want to) and a shiny finish. And it dries in just a few minutes too!
The only con is that, after three days, the polish was badly chipped. I hadn’t used a top coat, though so if you do, I think it could last a few days longer. And yes, in case you’re wondering, some of the nail polish had leaked out during delivery (as you can see from the first picture), but luckily, it didn’t ruin anything else that was in the package. Well, only the pretty nail polish bottle is a bit ruined, but I can live with that.

Trisha, they really are. I’m not really a fan of them though so I wish I had known this wasn’t a pinkier shade. But I think it will appeal to a lot of people anyway.
Darn, inaccurate swatches are really annoying. But the formula sounds really great, and three days is definitely long enough for me!

Makeup Morsels, they really are! But the formula is wonderful so I think I will try more shades of these polishes. I think 3 days is average, but maybe I’ve been spoilt by Layla and Pupa polishes that last longer and was hoping this would too.
