Name: Sensual Gloss
Brand: Nee Makeup
Size: 6ml
Price: €16,90

From Nee’s website:
It provides extreme shine and pure color to the lips, enhancing them with refined elegance. Protective and hydrating, its velvety texture is easy to apply.

What I liked:
- very shiny finish
- the applicator makes application very easy
- doesn’t dry lips
- not-sticky

What I didn’t like:
- doesn’t change color (it just provides the barest hint of color)
- doesn’t last long on the lips
- the price

Nee Makeup Sensual Gloss is one of those glosses that promise to change color when applied. According to the company, it synchronizes with your lips, so that they become one color with the gloss, thus enhancing their natural look. If I have to be honest, I’m not completely sure what that means, but I guess it’s their way of saying that the gloss doesn’t do much in terms of color. The gloss is light pink in color but once on the lips, it just looks transparent. I’ve noticed that it makes my lips just a tiny little bit darker, but you really have to watch them very closely to notice the slight difference.

However, what the gloss provides is a very shiny finish. It has a liquid texture that, although not moisturizing, it doesn’t dry lips either. It just feels comfortable on. Ands although I like that the gloss isn’t sticky at all, that also means that staying power isn’t that good. After less than two hours, it’s already time to reapply it.

Application is really easy thanks to the innovative applicator, which has short, tapered natural bristles. I was afraid that, because the applicator is so short, the gloss would take ages to apply and go on patchy but I shouldn’t have worried. Application was really quick and smooth. Instead, I have mixed feelings about the packaging. It looks pretty but I prefer see-through tubes so that I can see how much gloss is left inside.

Summary
Although Nee Makeup Sensual Gloss claims to change shade when applied, it doesn’t. It provides barely any color at all, has a very shiny finish and a not-sticky texture that applies easily thanks to the small applicator. However, it doesn’t last long. Overall, it’s a good clear gloss, but then there are cheaper options around.
