Name: 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Gunmetal, Rockstar and Stash
Brand: Urban Decay
From Urban Decay’s website:
Creamy, forever-lasting, award-winning and waterproof, 24/7 pencils delight you with lush tropical hues, deep metallics, and unusually vibrant neutrals.
What I liked:
- creamy texture, glide on smoothly, no tugging
- Rockstar and Stash are very pigmented
- longlasting, even on the waterline
- don’t irritate eyes
What I didn’t like:
- Gunmetal is quite sheer
- smudge slightly after 8 hours of wear
- the price
As my regular readers know, I love Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils. They come in a lot of beautiful and pigmented shades, have a creamy texture that glides easily on the eyes and last long even on the waterline. Unfortunately, they are also expensive so I usually buy the eyeliner sets the brand so often releases and which contain several mini pencils (I can never finish a full-size one anyway). This way, I collected quite a few of them and today, I’ll talk about 3 of them: Gunmetal, Rockstar and Stash. I’ve already written a throughout review of Zero, so I’ll keep this short and sweet:
Gunmetal is a beautiful gray shade with silver shimmers. It is the least pigmented of the three and thus may not show up well on dark-skinned beauties. Rockstar is a pretty deep, reddish purple shade with subtle red shimmers. Because it’s quite dark, it’s a good alternative to black and brown eyeliners during the day too. Stash is my favourite. It’s a stunning olive green with gold accents that makes my green eyes pop and would look even better on those who have brown eyes. Like Rockstar, it is very pigmented. They all have a very creamy texture that applies smoothly without tugging and lasts about 8 hours on me before it starts to smudge, but only minimally.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in Gunmetal, Rockstar and Stash all have a buttery soft texture that glides smoothly on the eyes. They all last long, even on the waterline, and smudge, but only slightly, after 8 hours of wear. Unlike Gunmetal which is on the sheer side, Rockstar and Stash are very pigmented.
