I’ve already mentioned how shaving is my preferred method of hair removal because it is painless and effective. Being a cheapskate, I usually just buy men razors that come in big bulks at a very inexpensive price. I remember trying more expensive women razors back in high school, but although prettier, I didn’t get a very close shave with them and so I went back to using men’s ones. Well, things have changed since then because, when I was given the chance to try the new Soleil range of razors, I found them to be both stylish and effective. This range includes several different types of razors and today we’ll talk about the new Miss Soleil and Soleil Lady shavers. Let’s get started:

The Miss Soleil shavers are the cutest razors I have ever seen in my life. I actually squeaked with delight when I took them out of the package. They are pink and have an unique flower design engraved in the handle that is just very girly and feminine. They are perfect for teenagers, but may not be very appealing for older women. They are also sturdy and I find them easier to handle than most generic men’s razors. The triple blades ensure a very close shave with less nick and cuts and leave my legs smooth.

The Soleil Lady shavers are yellow, red and orange in color. They may not be as pretty and girly as the Miss Soleil range, but they definitely are very summery, colorful and cheerful. These too are very sturdy and have two soft plastic applications on the handle that ensures a not-slip grip even in the shower. Easy to handle, they allow a very close shave thanks to their triple blades and I noticed I was less prone to cut myself around difficult areas. I was skeptical about the lubricating strips releasing Aloe Vera and Vitamin E but I have to say that my skin was slightly softer afterwards than when it usually is after shaving. It’s not really a big difference and you should still use a moisturizer afterwards but it’s noticeable.

Overall, I’m in love with these razors and that’s something that I didn’t expect at all, mainly because I never found razors very exciting lol. They have really made me reconsider my habit of using cheap men razors because, even though those work really well too, the pretty designs, the not-slip grips handle and the easy of use just provide a more complete, satisfying experience. Is it worth paying a bit more for that? That depends on what your tastes and needs are but thankfully, these ranges are quite inexpensive and won’t break the bank. I just wish the boxes contained more than 4 razors, but I guess that’s cos I like to purchase my razors in big bulks.

BIC Miss Soleil And Soleil Lady Shavers are stylish and effective razors. The designs are very pretty and cheerful, the ergonomic handles ensure a not slip grip and easy handling while the triples blades allow a close shave with less nicks and cuts. I also noticed that the Soleil Lady shavers, thanks to the lubricating strips, leave skin a little bit softer. However, the designs may not appeal to older women.

Jamilla, you’re welcome. I think these razors are very pretty and give a really close shave. I have only tried men’s razors from Gillette and they work well. I will try Venus next!

Rosie, oh dear! I’m so sorry to hear that! How awful! I used this brand’s razors a few times but I can’t say I ever had any problems with it. Yes, I cut myself when I shave every now and then, although never as bad as you, but that’s more my fault for doing things too quickly than the razor’s. You must always be so careful when shaving!

Trisha, what a shame! I usually buy the cheapest razors too but after trying these, I’m starting to think it’s really worth it to spend a bit more to achieve a really close shave and smooth, soft legs.

Mach3 razors are very good! But I like these too a lot and I think the price is very reasonable too. They give a very close shave and all the perks of women’s razors such as pretty design, but without breaking the bank.
