At the beginning of the summer I was lucky enough to win one of Inglot Sleeks at a blog giveaway over at Makeup 4 All and it has quickly become one of my favourite lipglosses. I definitely plan to get more of them when I get the chance to visit an Inglot store. Inglot Sleeks are available in a wide variety of shades to suit everyone’s tastes and skintones. The one I have is n.47, which looks like a scary dark red in the sleek tube. But on the lips, it is very wearable.
It is a light burgundy red chock full of gold shimmers that will make your lips sparkle and is suitable for daytime too. It actually looks a bit brighter in the swatch than it does in real life. Color payoff is great for a gloss and you only need to dip the wand in once for opaque coverage. The texture is not sticky at all and, although I wouldn’t describe it as moisturizing, it feels comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry them out.
It also has a very strong sweet scent that I just adore. It smell delicious and tastes so too. It disappears quickly on the lips but I would still suggest you smell it in the store before buying it if you don’t like strong scents in your lip products. Staying power is only average though. It lasts only a couple of hours on my lips and even less if I eat or drink, so it would need frequent reapplication during the day.
