How would like to customize your own makeup bag? Clippy Kit London allows you to do just that. What’s Clippy? It’s a company started by Calypso (called Clippy by her friends) Race. She made the very first Clippy bag on the kitchen table because she wanted to display her collection of Polaroid photos in it. Lots of people stopped her in the street asking where she got the bag from and so she decided to put 250 bags into production and hired a stall on Portobello Road, London. All were sold in a month and Clippy was up and running.
Since then, the company has grown and offers bags, stationary, brollies and lots more. But my favourite item is the makeup bag. It measures 20cm x 14cm x 5.5cm, which is the ideal size for your handbag, and has four photo pockets that you can customize however you like. How? First of all, you have to go over to the website and choose the bag you want to customize. Then, you select the photos you want on your bag. If you don’t like the photos provided (which are so cute!), you can upload your own. Once you’ve filled one side, flip the bag over and do the same with the other side.
Clippy makes it really easy to create your ideal bag. It would also make a great and unique present for your family and friends. The makeup bag retails at £14.50 and the website ships internationally.
