Sensuality, wild nature and hippie-chic style: that’s the inspiration for Pupa’s Folk Waves Autumn 2011 Collection, which will hit the stores in September. Promo pictures and details are already available though and, as always, Pupa doesn’t disappoint. Earthy warm shades are mixed with cool and bright purple and blue hues to create sophisticated colorful looks. Let’s see what this collection includes:
LUMINYS SATIN BAKED EYESHADOW (€13,90)
These eyeshadows have a formula enriched with small and extra fine pearls, for a sophisticated look. Available in: 302 Aubergine, 601 Teal Blue and 801 Greige.
LUMINYS PEAR BAKED EYESHADOW (€13,90)
A formula that is rich in pearls, for an amazing sparkling effect. Available in: 01 Copper Brown, 02 Dark Brown and 03 Rose Beige.
COLOR SHINE EYELINER (€12,90)
A creamy, paraben-free formula that provides bright and intense color payoff and a longlasting result. Available in 302 Aubergine and 500 Teal Blue.
BLUSH TRIO (€20,00)
It contains three three different, but perfectly coordinated shades that can be used to shape the face and outline its features, for a natural and luminous result. Available in 01 Pink Armony – 02 Mandarin Delight.
DIVA’S ROUGE (€13,50)
Two new shades, enriched with golden pearls, for a sophisticated look: 29 Nude Beige
30 Tangerine Orange.
LASTING COLOR (€5,90)
These nail polishes provide a an intense and bright coverage in just one stroke and dry quickly. Available in 406 Aubergine, 510 Tangerine Orange and 719 Teal Blue.

Madarin delight blush is so pretty! (But then I saw the price and thought about the exchange rate…) The lipstick on the right looks tempting too…just the price is a bit (I never though that MAC are kind of cheap…)

Citrine, I love the Mandarin blush too. I remember when Pupa products used to be affordable, but lately their prices have sadly increased a lot.. *sighs* But at least the quality is still great.

Hi Sole! I’m so glad you are finally able to get your hands on this collection. It’s really beautiful, isn’t it? I didn’t get anything because I already have similar colors in my stash (although the temptation is still really strong lol) but I swatched the products in the store and I fell in love with the eyeshadows. Lovely texture and good color payoff. I think you’ll like them too. The blushes instead didn’t fully convince me. The colors are very pretty, but I find them a bit too shimmering and so more appropriate for summer than fall.

I think I already own a lot of purple/brown/nude eyeshadows, but the teal one is so beautiful…
I like shimmering blushes and here is spring right now… but I don´t want to repeat items and I already have the Bobbi Brown shimmerbrick (Nectar shade, beautiful!)… If they look similar to that, I probably won´t buy them…

I think Pupa should come out with more muted, colorful shades as most of their colors are so dupable. But that teal eyeshadow is definitely the prettiest in the collection and worth buying if you don’t have a similar color already in your stash.

I just want to tell you that I finally bought two eyeshadows (teal and greyge, the last one is so creamy and beautiful, teal isn´t so pigmented but shade is unique) and the blush in pink (it’s sooo big I did not expect that lol)

Sole, enjoy your goodies. The teal shadow is less pigmented than the others but not too sheer either and the color is beautiful. Pupa’s blushes are really big and the quality is great too.
