Name: My Balm in 375
Brand: MNY
Price: €2,90

From MNY’s website:
Kissable shimmery color, vanilla buzz. Glitter, dark pink.

What I liked:
- moisturizing
- longlasting
- the packaging
- the price

What I didn’t like:
- very sheer
- texture is not very creamy
- scent is too sweet

I’m a sucker for lip balms. It doesn’t really matter that I have already found my HG, I still have to try any new lip balm I come across. So, when MNY finally became available in my town, My Balm was the first product to catch my attention. The price is cheap, the packaging has a pretty and cool design, and there are 4 shades available.

The shade I chose is 375, a candy pink infused with shimmers. But while the color looks lovely in the tube, it doesn’t really show up on my lips at all, which is really disappointing. MNY is a brand that promises to offer more than 153 shades for color-loving fashionistas, yet their lip balms and their glosses have such poor color payoff that I don’t really see the point in releasing them in more than one shade. The shimmers aren’t visible either on the lips, but the balm gives them, instead, a pearly finish. This I actually liked as it gives a more natural look. I love shimmers in glosses but I prefer my lip balms without them.

As a lip balm, though, it does its job. It’s not as creamy as I like my lip balms to be, but it is quite moisturizing. It glides smoothly on the lips and leaves them soft and hydrated for several hours. It also has a sweet scent that reminds me of candy. I don’t like it but it’s subtle so I don’t mind too much. Overall, it’s a good basic lip balm for those on a budget, but I personally don’t love it enough to repurchase it.

Available at: European drugstores

Summary
With MNY MY Balm in 375, you get what you pay for. It is a basic, not too creamy, lip balm that moisturizes lips for a few hours. However, the color (a candy pink) is so sheer that it just won’t show up at all. The scent may be too sweet for some people but the price is cheap.

Rating: 3.5/5

Marina, it’s pretty indeed, but I wish it was more pigmented as it doesn’t show up well on the lips.

I actually think the color looks really good on your lips, although it’s too bad it’s so sheer. Love the cute packaging!

Makeup Morsels, I agree that the shade is pretty which makes it even more disappointing that you can’t see it that well at all.

Thanks for the review! I’ve tinkered with the idea of buying this lip balm lately because of the cute design of the packaging but fortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to do so, yet. Otherwise, I’d have read your review too late and regret my haul. :-)

Mylanqolia, I’m glad to have saved you some money. The packaging is very pretty indeed but the lip balm itself nothing special really.
