Ages ago (yes, this is another long overdue review, sorry!), I was telling my friend Ana of Lipsticks And Lightsabers that I really wanted to try some Beauty From The Earth eyeshadows and she was so kind to send me some samples. Knowing how much I love my brights, she sent me samples of some of the most vivid and colorful shades she had. Wasn’t that sweet? Thanks hun, I really appreciate it. 🙂
So, let’s see which shades I got:
Envy is a beautiful green shade with yellow undertones and gold reflects. Lavish is a yellow green with a pretty sheen. It is similar to Envy, but has more yellow in it. Lemon is my favourite shade and the most beautiful yellow I have come across so far. It is a true, bright, shimmery yellow that’s just gorgeous and surprisingly easy to wear.
The other three shades I have are primary pigments. That means that these are pure pigments that aren’t custom made by the company. Considering how many beautiful shades the company makes, I don’t really mind that they are also selling pure colors, especially since the prices are fair and they tell you these shades aren’t made by them so you know what you are buying. And they are gorgeous too!
Blueberry is another favourite of mine. It’s a bright blue with a medium sheen. If you love blues, you need this shade as it’s just stunning. Chocolate is a dark brown with copper shimmers. It’s a basic brown but quite pretty. The swatch really doesn’t do it justice. Tangerine is a soft orange shade with golden shimmers. I usually find it hard to find an orange shade that looks good on me but this one is just perfect.
All the shades, including the primary colors, have a wonderful formula that’s smooth and easy to blend and great color payoff so a little goes a long way. They also last all day with a primer underneath. I haven’t really tested them without a primer because, being loose eyeshadows, I feel they need some kind of base to stick to to better adhere to the lid and make application less messy.

BFTE Mineal Eyeshadows come in lots of beautiful bright and natural shades, all of which have a soft, blendable texture and good color payoff. They also sell primary pigments, which are pure colors not custom made by the company. As with all loose pigments, they need a base underneath to better adhere to the lids and minimize fallout. Application can be a bit messy, but the price is cheap.
