Product Review: Liz Earle Foot Scrub

Name: Foot Scrub
Brand: Liz Earle
Size: 100ml
Price: £10.45

From Liz Earle’s website:
This hard-working scrub gently exfoliates hard, rough skin on heels and soles, leaving feet ultra-soft and buffed to perfection. Massage daily onto damp skin, concentrating on dry areas such as heels, toes and balls of your feet.

What I liked:
– exfoliates skin gently but effectively
– divine scent
– the packaging
– also available in a sample size

What I didn’t like:
– scent is strong
– some may find the price too expensive

Now that sandal season is in full swing, we need to make sure that our feet are soft, smooth and presentable. If you are like me, though, you forgot to take proper care of your feet in those long winter months when they’re constantly buried under socks and boots, and by the time summer’s arrived, they have become dry and hard. A product that really helped me get my feet sandal-ready (and keep them like that) is Liz Earle Foot Scrub.

Packaged in a soothing and hygienic blue tube, the scrub is quite rich and creamy, and contains lots of little exfoliating pumice particles. It smells divine: it has a refreshing and clean herbal, peppermint-based scent. It is quite strong and lasts for hours on the feet which can be a bit offputting if you don’t like this type of scent. This is not a problem for me. In fact, I absolutely adore the scent. But how does the scrub itself perform?

Liz Earle foot scrub is effective but gentle. The pumice particles exfoliate skin well without irritating it. As a result feet are smooth and noticeably soft. If your feet are very dry, you will need a few applications to get baby smooth skin but you’ll definitely notice a big difference from the first use. In less than a week, my feet were already summer ready and to keep them in good condition, I now use the scrub two or three times a week. I actually love using it, it’s such a nice, uplifting treat for feet.

Some people may consider £10.45 to be too expensive for a foot scrub, but it really isn’t as the scrub has a thick consistency so you need very little for each use and the tube will last you for ages. If you’re still not convinced but are curious to give it a go anyway, you can try the sample size, which contains 15ml of products and retails at only £4.60.

Ana, unfortunately I don’t think it is available here. I’ll see if I can find it on ebay but I can’t promise anything. On a happier note, I finally have my new debit card so I can order the Intensissimi palette. :)
