Name: I-Divine Oh So Special Palette
Brand: Sleek Makeup
Size: 12×1.1g
Price: £6.49

From Sleek Makeup’s website:
It’s the ultimate i-Divine that every woman should have in her possession, with 12 flattering on-trend shades to suit all skin tones no matter what the occasion, the Oh So Special palette will always deliver the perfect results. Take your look from day time chic with matte browns and creamy beiges, through to sultry evening glamour with shimmering grays and smokey plums.

What I liked:
- beautiful mix of neutral and smokey shades
- pigmented
- easy to blend
- longlasting
- the packaging
- the price

What I didn’t like:
- matte shades less pigmented than shimmery ones (color payoff is still good though)

You all know how much I love Sleek Makeup Eyeshadow Palettes but I have to admit that when the Oh So Special palette landed on my desk, I wasn’t very excited. I had no doubt that the quality of this palette would be just as good as that of the others, but you know me, I love bright shades while Oh So Special features mostly neutral and smokey tones in different finishes (5 are shimmery and 7 are matte). But as soon as I swatched them, I fell in love. These shades may be neutral, but they aren’t boring at all. They are simply stunning. Let’s examine them one by one, ok?

Celebrate: a beautiful shimmery purple with dark brown undertones
Glitz: grey with blue undertones and a shimmery finsh
Gift Basket: a shimmery bronzy brown
Ribbon: a matte peach
Organza: a beautiful champagne shade with pink undertones
Bow: matte cream

Pamper: soft pink with peach undertones
Gateau: pink with gold iridescence
The Mail: matte beige
Boxed: a matte dark brown
Wrapped Up: brown eyeshadow with purple undertones
Noir: matte black

As you can see, the shades are pretty and versatile and can be used for any occasion. The light shades are perfect for the day while the dark ones are ideal for night-time looks, which makes this palette very handy for travelling. My favourite shades are Gateau, Glitz and Organza as they are just gorgeous with amazing pigmentation. Bow is barely visible in the picture above but that is because, when swatched it is pretty much the same color as that of my skin, but it has good color payoff, like the rest of the shades (Pamper is the sheerest one) and is perfect to highlight the browbone.

As always, the texture is very soft, easy to blend and I didn’t experience any fallout. The matte shades are less pigmented than the shimmery ones, although their color payoff is still good and easily buildable. A couple of lighter shades (Pamper and The Mail) may not show up well on those with darker skintones but fair-skinned beauties won’t have any problems with any of the colors. I find the staying power to be pretty good as well. They lasted about 8 hours on my slightly oily lids before starting to crease, but only minimally. A primer will easily make them stay put all day though.

Summary
Sleek Makeup I-Divine Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette contains 5 shimmery and 7 matte shades in neutral and smokey tones that can be used to create soft and wearable looks for the day and dramatic looks for the evening. All of the shades have good color payoff (the matte less than the shimmering; a couple of lighter ones will not show up well on dark skintones), blend easily and last long. The packaging is gorgeous and the price cheap.

Rating: 4/5

La trovo una palette molto autunnale, ma decisamente scrivente!

Fidya, concordo, i colori sono molto autunnali ma adatti a ogni stagione. La pigmentazione è ottima.

Vonvon, it is a permanent palette so it may come back in stock soon. I hope you’ll be able to get it. Ribbon is a lovely peach shade. :)

Soo pretty! I saw swatches of this on Lipglossiping and really loved it, now you’re making me want it even more grr. Really don’t need any more eyeshadows, but this palette has such a nice combination of shades for everyday wear.
