Name: Kajal Pencil in Cool Breeze
Brand: Essence
Size: 1g
Price: €1,49

From Essence’s website:
Thanks for its longlasting formula, this kajal pencil will give your eyes a more than special touch.

What I liked:
– beautiful summery shade
– creamy texture, glides on smoothly without tugging
– pigmented
- longlasting
– the price

What I didn’t like:
- doesn’t last long on the waterline

Essence Kajal Pencil in Cool Breeze is a beautiful and bright aqua shade with a pearly finish. It’s a very summery shade and it reminds me of the color of the sea. I almost feel like I’m lying on a sandy beach somewhere hot with a good book in one hand, an iced drink in the other and the cool breeze going through my hair when I wear it…

Cool Breeze is very pigmented and has a creamy texture that glides easily on the skin, leaving behind an opaque and even line without tugging. It can even be used as an eyeshadow base to make the colors pop. It also doesn’t irritate eyes and doesn’t smudge nor smear throughout the day.

Unlike the Essence Kajal Pencil in Teddy, which lasts only a couple of hours without a primer, I find that Cool Breeze stays put from morning till evening on my slightly oily lids even when I’m not using a base underneath. Unfortunately, I can’t say it lasts that well on the waterline too. Here it disappears within a hour! Most pencils don’t last long there though and overall, I think that Cool Breeze is a great eyeliner for the price.

Summary
Essence Kajal Pencil in Cool Breeze is a summery aqua shade with a pearly finish and great color payoff. Very pigmented, it glides on smoothly on the skin without tugging. It stays put all day without smudging nor fading on the lid but disappears quickly from the waterline.

That’s really beautiful. And I like how easy it seems to apply. Pretty.

That colour is so summery! I have this in Neon Sweetie, a creamy yellow.

Wow, the color is absolutely gorgeous! Good to hear about the staying power too.

Makeup Morsels, I was pleasantly surprised about the staying power cos the other pencil I have from this line disappears so soon. But this lasts and lasts… :)

What would you say is the best waterproof eyeliner? I hear about MUF Aqua liners and Stila smudge stick, but they are so pricey :-(

Roxann, unfortunately I haven’t found a drugstore eyeliner that’s really waterproof yet. It really sucks. :( I know Gosh makes some good waterproof eyeliners but they aren’t available here so I haven’t tried them yet. Everyone who tried them seem to rave about them though.
