Self-service displays! I just prefer to peruse and try the products on my own but I do like to have a SA on hand should I have any questions. Buying at counters makes me nervous (and sometimes very irritated) as the ladies there tend to be pushy, always expecting you to buy something even if you just wanna simply see what’s new.

Yes, they are so bright and cheerful, although yellow isn’t the easiest color to pull off.

I totally hate them! lol I prefer bronzers with a little bit of sun (SPF is mandatory!)

Stavroula, I’m not a fan of the bronzed look but I do much prefer to achieve it with a bronzer than a self-tanner. And I agree, SPF is mandatory.

Marina, I hope you’re not depressed. It must be an interesting reading though. It was the second time I read Wuthering Heights and I enjoyed it a lot more than I did the first time. It is a great story.

Depends whether you mean the French kind (YES) or the type with coconut (not so much)

Not normally, but I’m testing one out for the first time this year on my legs. It works pretty nicely! I never use it on my face, though.

The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler. Also planning to reread the LOTR trilogy, but those are still waiting for me at the library.

I prefer self-service displays. I find that the SA’s can be very pushy sometimes, although once in awhile I’ll find one that’s really helpful!

Makeup Morsels, it’s great when you find a SA that’s helpful. I find most of them (at least here) are pushy and don’t know much about makeup but only repeat the exaggerated claims the company makes about the products, which is not helpful and very irritating!

… my skintone is MAC NW20… but I get tanned very fast and I really hate this so I´m a little crazy sunscreen person.

Sole, your skin color rocks anyway! It’s the idea that you have to tan to be pretty, which seems to be very popular nowadays (it sure is here anyway) that I can’t stand. I think every natural skin color is beautiful and doesn’t need to be darkened or lightened.

Xin, I hate it when SAs follow you around. If they ask to help you, and you refuse, they just leave you alone. Otherwise, you’ll only feel uncomfortable and would want to leave asap.
