One of the best things about blogging is discovering new interesting and great brands. My latest discovery is The Nature’s Co, an Indian brand that makes a wide range of natural skincare, body care and hair care products which are reasonably priced. The first product I had the chance to try from The Nature’s Co is their Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash and it was love at first… sniff. This stuff smells delicious!
It has a fruity scent (watermelon and kiwi are the main notes, yummy!), which is strong without being cloying, and just smells very summery and refreshing. I just can’t stop smelling this stuff, which is a bit weird, but it really is that good. The only bad thing about it is that it disappears after just 3 hours on the skin.
This Exfoliating Body Wash has a gel consistency, is pale brownish in color, and is chock full with walnut grits and kiwi seeds to exfoliate skin. At first I was afraid it would be too harsh for my skin, but once I put it to the test, I realized I shouldn’t have worried. The body wash lathers well and the walnut grits and kiwi seeds are very gentle, removing dead skin cells and other impurities well, without irritating skin.
As a result, skin is clearer, brighter and feels soft to the touch. However, be careful not to use it too often as, like all exfoliants, it will irritate skin if you over exfoliate. The skin on my body is dry and I find that using it once a week works very well for me. I also think that the Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash is suitable for all skin types, bar sensitive. In that case, an exfoliant with AHA would be the best option.
I also like the packaging. It is a simple but pretty see-through tube so you can see how much product is left in it. It’s also pretty big so it will last for ages. But the thing that I like the most is that it has the expiration date printed on the back of the tube, which I think it’s great (mine expires on 4/2012). I really wish more brands followed their example!

Summary
The Nature’s Co Watermelon Exfoliating Body Wash is a gentle gel exfoliant with kiwi seeds and walnut grains that effectively but gently removes dead skin cells and other impurities from the skin without irritating it. It actually leaves it soft and supple. The scent is absolutely delicious but unfortunately it doesn’t last long on the skin.

Trisha, it’s a shame indeed! It is so delicious I was hoping it’d last all day.
Sounds interesting! I like body scrubs. Watermelon reminds me of Korres Watermelon scrub which I once used.
