What it is
Ultramarines are synthetic pigments of several colors: blue, pink, red, green and violet. Natural ultramarines occur in lapis lazuli but the FDA only allows synthetic ultramarines to be used in cosmetics.

Ultramarines are used to give a certain color to cosmetics.
Side effects
Ultramarines are safe for external use only. This means they can be used around the eyes but not in lip products.
