New Collection: Collistar Italian Look Spring/Summer 2011

Italian style and color were the protagonists of the latest international fashion shows and Collistar gives its best interpretation of that mood in their spring/summer collection. Bright and lively shades of green, blue and violet celebrate the cheerfulness and joie de vivre of the famous Italian way of life. The complexion is enhanced with a pearly white all-over powder while the lips are subdued but classy in natural shades. The result is a colorful but glamorous look because makeup must be flaunted but without neglecting the elegance of Italian style. Here’s what the collection includes:

A simple and elegant white and gold compact that houses three baked eyeshadows with a luminous pearl finish and intense color payoff. They can be used dry for a satin effect or wet for an intense look. They are available in Romantic (pink, brown and gold), Trendy (gold, blue and violet) and Chic (bronze, gold and black).

These silky, longlasting and pigmented eyeshadows are now available in two cheerful and bright shades, Wisteria and Blue Jeans. They also contain UVA and UVB filters to protect skin against the sun rays.

Available in Turquoise, Violet and Blue, they have an applicator pen and buildable texture that allow full control over application. You can easily draw both thin and thick lines with these and they last all day too.

Add some color and fun to your looks this summer with this blue mascara that claims to add length, volume and curl to your lashes from the first application. It is enriched with Procapil, an active principle that strengthens the hair bulb for stronger and beautiful lashes.

Available in White Pearl, this all over powder has a texture reminiscent of fine brocade, with a vibrant and unique finish that makes your skin glowy and brighter without adding color. It can be used all over the face, eyes and decollete.

Available in Wine, this shade is intense and pigmented but still easy to apply and control, giving your skin a nice pop of color and healthy glow.

Available in Toffee and Magenta, these lipsticks have a silky texture and intense color payoff, leaving a dense film of color from the very first stroke, and a shiny finish.

These volumizing glosses are now available in Pearly Powder Pink and Pearly Caramel, two brilliant but subtle and sophisticated shades that last for hours.

These polishes are pigmented, shiny, longlasting, fast-drying and have nail hardening properties. What more could you want? They are now available in Mandarin Lacquer, Blue Jeans and Pearl Bonbon.

Margueriti, si, mi piacciono questi colori vibranti, li trovo molto adatti per l’estate. Il blush attira molto anche me.

Brittany, Collistar is an Italian brand (one of my favourites) and they make some great products. This collection is beautiful indeed. :)

What a pretty sping collection. Too bad they aren’t available in the US. But I bet I could dupe this look with some similar colors that I already have (e.g., UD & MAC). I need to look for a good blue mascara. That would be a lot of fun. And, everyone should have fun with their makeup!

Eleanor, that’s too bad, it is a gorgeous collection! This is a colorful and very pretty look and it should be a lot of fun to recreate it as well. :) And I so agree that makeup should be fun. 😉

Shirin, unfortunately I don’t think that Collistar is available in the States. Maybe you can try ebay?
