Name: Creamy Concealer
Brand: Bobbi Brown
Size:1.7g
Price:€26,00

From Bobbi Brown’s website:
Bobbi shares her favorite makeup artist tip – a yellow-based concealer that instantly camouflages dark circles. The creamy consistency ensures that it goes on smoothly, providing full, but natural looking coverage.

What I liked:
- available in lots of shades
- good, medium to full coverage
- natural finish
- covers dark circles and other imperfections well
- creamy texture is moisturizing and blends well
- doesn’t settle in fine lines
- longlasting

What I didn’t like:
- pot is tiny
- mirror included is too small to be useful
- the price

I have very pale skin and horrible, very dark circles so for me, to find a good concealer is almost a mission impossible. A few of my blogger friends have recommended me to try Bobbi Brown concealers but alas, the brand isn’t available in Italy *sighs*. So, when my boyfriend went to Germany last summer, I asked him to stop at the Bobbi Brown counter and get their Creamy Concealer for me. He kindly obliged, but when he heard the price, he almost walked away empty-handed! He thought I was crazy to pay so much for a little pot and that I had been ripped off! lol.

It is a very expensive concealer indeed and the pot is tiny (and comes with a small, useless mirror), which may put some people off but you need so little that it’ll easily last for several months to a year and the quality is amazing! And I love that it is available in 14 shades, all yellow based as Bobbi believes there’s nothing better than that to cover dark circles, so that everyone will be able to find a good match for their skintone. They even make one that’s light enough for me!

The shade I got is Porcelain, the lightest shade available, which is yellow-based but also has some pink tones in it and works extremely well on very pale skintones. It has a very creamy, not too thick but not too thin either consistency that goes on smoothly and is very easy to blend. It provides medium to full coverage so less is more with this concealer. The finish though is natural and looks like you have nothing on.

You can either apply it with a brush, which picks up more product and provides full coverage, or with your fingers for a lighter application. Personally, I dab it on with a concealer brush and then blend it with my fingers and I’m very impressed with the results: it just completely covers my dark circles and every other imperfection I have on my skin without looking cakey or settling into fine lines! Its texture is quite moisturizing and not drying at all so it suitable for mature skin too. It lasts about 7 hours on me if I use it alone, but once I set it with powder, it’ll stay put all day.

Now, what am I gonna do when I run out of this?! Thank goodness, that doesn’t look like it’ll happen any time soon..

Available at: bobbibrowncosmetics.com, Nordstrom

Summary
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer is a yellow-based concealer with a creamy and moisturizing texture that provides medium to full coverage. It does a fantastic job at covering dark circles, blemishes and other imperfections, while giving skin a natural and flawless finish that lasts for hours. It is available in 14 shades but the pot is tiny and the price expensive.

I love this! I use the corrector as well and follow that with the concealer. I also use her long-wear cream shadow in shore as a base for eye shadow- it’s perfect for concealing any eyelid discoloration. The pots are small but they last a very, very long time. I’ve been contemplating using her eye cream as well. She has a hydrating eye cream and a new extra eye repair cream. I think both are too expensive, so unless I hear from someone that they’re worth it, I’m going to pass.

Amy, I’m glad you love this too. It is an awesome concealer indeed and covers everything so well. The pot was actually smaller than I first expected but I’ve been using it for months and there’s still plenty of product left so I think that, despite the high price, it’s worth buying.

Unfortunately her products aren’t available here so I can’t try the eye creams but I think they are too expensive for what you get tbh. I haven’t heard much about them though so I can’t judge really.

It’s awesome that this worked so well! Though, the price is…high.

Trisha, the price is high indeed and the pot is so small too! But the product lasts for a long time and although I’m a drugstore girl at heart, I don’t mind splurging for concealers and foundation. From my experience, high end base/face products perform better than drugstore ones, have a better texture and are available in a wider variety of shades so it’s easier to find a match (I’m so pale that all drusgtore foundations I’ve tried are just too dark for me and make me look orange). Of course, there are always exceptions. :)

I’ve heard a lot of nice things about this concealer. A lot of makeup artists and beauty editors swear by it. I’ll put it in my list since I’m looking for a new concealer.

Dao, then you should definitely consider this. It is a lot of money for a small pot but it will last for ages and has a creamy, moisturizing consistency that covers everything. :)
