What’s your favourite type of cleanser?

Beautiful with Brains says: cream cleansers are my favourite because they are gentler and cleanse well while leaving skin soft, but I also like exfoliating cleansers. I use them both depending on the time of year. In summer my skin gets oilier so then an exfoliating gel cleanser works best for me. But that’s a bit too harsh for me in winter when my skin gets drier so I have now switched to a gentle cream cleanser.

cream cleansers! i love a rich nourishing one that leaves my skin soft…my clarisonic can exfolioate for me, no need for an exfoliating cleanser….gels are cool too.

Vonnie, I agree. Gel cleansers are nice but I prefer cream ones, they’re richer, gentler and leaves skin soft. :)

I like foam cleansers. I use to love gel cleansers until my skin started changing on me. And I agree with you. Cream cleansers are nice and rich<3

Dee, foam cleansers are nice. I like gels but they are not for everyone and when my skin gets dry a cream one works much better for me. :)

i like to doubel cleanse when i have make up on. so there is always an oil, then a cream to foamy one. though i have dry skin, cream doesn’t seem to clean 100% so slightly foamy is always welcome. i just need to follow up with a good moisturiser afterwards.

i love this post.

Jojoba, double cleansing is never a bad idea when ones wears makeup, you wanna make sure everything is removed. ;) And as long as you apply a hydrating moisturizer afterwards, it won’t dry out your skin. :)

Thanks, I’m glad you do.

I use DHC Soap year-round. In the summer, it helps with oil control, but it’s also foamy feeling, and doesn’t dry me out.

Makeup Morsels, I’ve never tried using soap to cleanse my face but this one sounds lovely. Glad it works so well for you. :)
