Yes. With the exception of a couple of Tv series, they’re the only thing I watch on tv these days. I especially love those about history and travels.

Nope. I don’t see the point in applying nail polish on my toe nails if noone’s gonna see them lol.

Go to bed early and read a good book. I have a bad cold at the moment so I need to take care of myself and stay warm.

Some rap songs are nice but rap music is not really my thing. I prefer pop, rock and classical music.

Yes! I actually prefer documentaries to most shows nowadays. There’s a government station called the CBC which always has documentaries on Sundays. I love to watch them because it kind of gives me a break from the mindless banter I hear in most shows.

Not really. I kill my nails with polish during the summer and winter’s like “hibernating” season lol.

Not really. A lot songs nowadays (not limited to rap) are a dime a dozen. Like whatever happened to good songs? Music nowadays have no staying power like before. One song is hot one week then not the next — they’re mostly dispensable.

Mary, I agree. Most TV shows are so full of silly talks and rows, so documentaries make a nice change.
I agree about music too. I was thinking about this the other day. I used to listen to music a lot a few years ago and buy quite a few cds but these days I don’t even know what songs are at the top of the charts. It seems to me that it’s always the same one, just sang by someone different every time. And I haven’t bought a cd in… can’t even remember. No one is releasing good music anymore, it’s so sad. But at least we still have the old school classics, they’re still awesome!

Tavia, I feel the same about rap music. There are some nice songs, but most of them I’m not too crazy about.

Yes, this is almost the only thing i watch….i hate 95% of italian TV and only documentary channels on Sky interest me. I do watch other stuff on tv…. but 99% SKY….

no… but one time i got bruised toe nail……….. so ugly… i went to a nice shop to try a nice pair of sandals… i felt sooo ashame that i totally forgot about it and had to show it in public….so the same night i went home and painted my toe nails…..

Movie…Maschi contro femmine…. one of the few films in original language….. (since all american films are not shown in original language here in Perugia….italian films are the only films i would go watching in the cinema!… i hate dubbed film no matter how well they are made… for sure I wouldn’t want to see leonardo di caprio speaking fluent italian)

Heidi, I hate Italian Tv as well, they are all so silly (for lack of a better word) or full of people that just scream and shout about nothing.. I only watch documentaries on SKY these days as well. Thank goodness for them!
I thought I was the only one that hated dubbed films. We have a big tradition of movie translators and dubbing here in Italy and everyone is so proud of them that I’m treated like some kind of traitors for saying movies should be watched in their original language instead.

Tammy, I agree that we have to keep our feet groomed in winter too. It’s just nail polish I don’t think is necessary.
I hate rap songs that aren’t respectful of women and there are so many of them unfortunately! But some of those that are about important issues instead are really nice.
about rap songs…actually there are some very good old school rap songs talking about politics with meaningful and ironic lyrics reflecting the politics status-quo… which make a great contrast to the new age commercial bling bling sexual rap songs
Heidi, you’re right. These days most rap songs seem to be about money, sex and women that we tend to forget about the old school songs that talk about important issues and are beautiful.
