1. What was the last book that made you cry?
Mistress of the Revolution by Catherine Delors. It’s the fictional memoir of the life of an impoverish French noblewoman before and during the French Revolution. Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down and even now that I finished it I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s a very moving book and made me cry my eyes out (and it’s very rare that a book makes me cry). The writer has a great eye for detail and used first-hand accounts when possible, so if you wanna know more about this historical period, I highly recommend this book. And if you’re not, you’ll still love it. 
2. What’s your least favourite makeup product to apply?
Nail polish. As much as I love to wear nail polish I hate having to apply it. I can’t be bothered to apply more than one or two coats and hate having to wait for it to dry. But the end result is always so pretty!
3. What was the last think that make you laugh?
Probably some joke my boyfriend told. He’s very funny and we’re always making fun of each other. We laugh a lot together.
4. Do you prefer sparkling or still mineral water?
Still.

It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I’m not gonna stop featuring beauty blogs as I follow more than 100 of them and discovering new ones every week so I still have lots to recommend to you. But I also read lots of other blogs about blogging, history, art, DIY projects and lots more and I think they deserve a mention too. But is this something you’d love or you just couldn’t care less? Please be honest, I don’t mind if you don’t like the idea.

1. What was the last book that made you cry? I always cry when I read Three Comrades. Remarque is a genius! And that book you read sounds interesting,I love history.

Marina, Three Comrades is on my to-read list. It seems a great book.
I like cooking blogs too although I only follow a couple. As for history blog, I follow so many! Versailles and more, Edwardian Promenade, Scandalous Women, Two Nerdy History Girls… I’ll post about them soon since you ladies seem to like the idea of featuring not only beauty blogs.

Tavia, I like books like that too. Actually I read pretty much everything and it’s rare that a book makes me cry. But I couldn’t help when I reached the end of this novel, it was emotional!
And I’m glad you ladies like the idea of featuring not-beauty blogs as well.

I don’t think a book has every made me cry. I’m either really hard-hearted or I just don’t read very moving books.

Brow pencil or powder. I’m just not very good a defining my brows. Practice makes perfect, right?

My rabbit. She’s just a funny bunny.

Tammy, you’re not hard hearted! It’s very rare that a book makes me cry but sometimes the writer is good that it makes me feel so much for the protagonist that I can’t help but cry. But as I said, it’s rare.
I love everything baked! You’re right, no one reads only one type of blog, that’s why I was thinking of including not-beauty blogs as well. But I was a bit worried people wouldn’t understand why a beauty blog features blogs about cooking, history, photography, whatever. I’m glad you all like the idea though.
