What I liked:
- sheer and wearable color
- stunning (excuse the pun) shade
- most of the profits are donated to charity
What I didn’t like:
- formula is hard to work with, streaky
- takes about 20 minutes to dry
- lasts about 3 days without a top coat
I’ve already talked about Peacekeeper, a fantastic eco-friendly company that understands what giving back means. In fact, they donate all their after-tax profits to women’s healthy and human right groups! Doesn’t it feel good to know that you can help others just by buying some makeup? Regular readers of my blog will remember how much I adored their Perfect As Is Lip Balm and I really wanted to love their Nail Polish in Paint Me Stunning as well, but alas, it wasn’t to be.
I do like it, but it needs some work. First off, the color. Paint Me Stunning is a beautiful, shimmery watermelon pink with a slightly metallic finish. One coat is very sheer and you need at least 3 for an opaque coverage. The sheerness is what makes Paint Me Stunning so wearable, subdued and understated, yet beautiful and perfect for any occasions.
The formula, however, could be improved. It is on the thick side which makes it harder to spread the color and get an even coverage. It is also prone to streaking, but both these problems are easily solved with a third coat, which evens everything out. Also, the nail polish took about 20 to 30 minutes to dry completely, which is quite a lot of time, especially if like me you can’t keep your hands still for more than five minutes. That’s why, I highly recommend you apply this when watching your favourite movie or TV show.
As for the staying power, it started chipping after about 3 days on me when I didn’t use a protective top coat. That’s how long most polishes last on me anyway so I wasn’t too disappointed but I know some people prefer their polishes to be more chip-resistant. However, you could easily make the color last a couple more days if you use a good top coat.

Summary
Overall, if you are willing to work with the formula (sheer and prone to streaking), I think you will like Paint Me Stunning, as the color is truly beautiful and elegant. It doesn’t dry too fast either, but it’s good to know that our money will go to those in need as the company donates all their after-tax profits to charity.

The color is pretty, but if you have to work with the formula it just puts me off! :/

Stavroula, that’s a shame, isn’t it? I was kinda disappointed when I applied and waited for it to dry but the end result was truly stunning.
This wouldn’t stay on my nails, I can’t wait 20-30 minutes for a nail polish to dry lol ! I’m so impatient!

Stavroula, I’m the same. Luckily before applying it I had read reviews saying it took a while to dry so I put on a movie while painting my nails. Otherwise, they’d have become a mess after 5 minutes lol.

Trisha, I always mess up polishes when they take this long to dry. But watching a movie or something helps.
Wow, that’s a pretty color. I can’t wait that long for nail polishes to dry so I use fast drying top coat. Some of the more natural ones take longer time to dry.

Dao, a fast drying top coat would help greatly with this. It’s a shame it takes so long to dry but the color is pretty so it’s worth the wait.
