Benefit Prrrowl ($28.00) left me speechless and not just because I think it’s gorgeous. It left me a bit puzzled at first because when I think of dual-ended products, the items paired together are usually either both for the eyes or for the lips. Benefit instead did things differently this fall.
Prrrowl is a double-ended wand that contains an iridescent peacock-blue mascara topcoat (which can be used on top of mascara or alone) and a shimmering pink lip gloss. Isn’t that a great idea? It will also save you some space in your suitcase when you travel.
However, I wish this cute little product was available in more shades. I’m not sure how many girls would wear peacock mascara. The color is very pretty but I think it would appeal to more people if they had done a variant in black and also released several shades of glosses. But still, I’d love to try it.

Oooh, I like it! Especially the mascara ‘topcoat.’ I like that color, but you’re right. Not everyone would wear that. So yes, they totally need more colors. Still, I want it.

Trisha, I want it too even though I have never worn peacock mascara. Still, I’m willing to give it a try. But I do hope that Benefit will release more shades in the future. It’s an interesting product and I’m sure it’d sell more if one could choose the shades they like best instead than being stuck with just one combination.

Actually you don’t see the peacock color. I find it hard to even notice the shimmer. The Mascara Topcoat is something playful – nice but definately not a must-have.
Jazz, thanks for sharing. I guess it’s one of those products that look awesome in the promo images but just don’t live up to expectations. Shame really.
The reason is because the blue hue is suppose to make the whites in your eyes brighter and your teeth whiter as well. They use this technique a lot.
