Name: Saucy Polish
Brand: Eyeko
Size: 8.5ml
Price: £3.50

From Eyeko’s website:
It’s a classic! Eyeko Saucy Polish is back for A/W10, one
coat of this rich scarlet will turn your talons into hot stuff!

What I liked:
– beautiful bright shade
– very thin formula, spreads so easily
– fantastic coverage
– dries easily
– the price
– the packaging

What I didn’t like:
– available online only (not necessarily a con, but I honestly couldn’t think of anything else)

Saucy is the other LE nail polish Eyeko released with Rain. The color may not be very unique and original, but it still beautiful: it is a bright hot red shade with a very shiny finish that gets your nails noticed. It’s sexy yet classy and because it’s neither too warm nor too cool, it will suit almost everyone.

But what really made me fall in love with Saucy is the fantastic formula. It is very thin and spreads like a dream, without streaking nor creating bubbles. I’ve rarely come across a nail polish that applies so smoothly and is definitely the one with the best formula out of all the Eyeko polishes I’ve tried so far.

But don’t let the thin formula fool you. This doesn’t apply sheer. On the contrary, the polish is very pigmented and all you need to achieve an opaque coverage is only one coat! It dries pretty fast too and after four days without top coat, I only had barely-noticeable tip wear. Overall, if you love red nail polishes like I do, I think you’ll fall in love with Saucy too.

Available at: Eyeko.com

Summary
Overall, Eyeko Saucy Polish is a true, bright red that dries fast to a shiny finish and looks sophisticated yet sexy. The color may not be very unique but the thin formula applies like a dream and is pigmented enough to provide full opacity in only one coat. Plus, the cute bottle is very pretty and inexpensive.

Rating: 4.5/5

I’ve seen this product online before and I thought it looked amazing. Your review has confirmed it, I think :) I already have enough red nail polishes (probably not as good as this one, though) but when they run out or dry up, I will absolutely buy this one.

Simone, it’s really amazing! I love red nail polishes but I wouldn’t say the color is very unique but what made me fall in love with it is the formula. It’s one of the best I’ve ever encountered, thin but pigmented and just so easy to apply.

Saucy is a LE so I’d suggest you get it asap. But then again, Eyeko has a tendency (which I love by the way) to sell LE products for months so it’ll probably be available for quite some time. :)

ooo the colour looks gorgeous – bummer on only being available online though, since I like having a look at the actual colour before buying…but if it’s as suitable for most skintones like you said, maybe it’s worth taking a chance? :D

Beetrice, I love online shopping but the one of the main downside is that you can’t try the shades and see how they suit you. Especially with reds that can be hard to pull off. But this one is pretty universal and I genuinely think it will suit most skintones and that will like it too.

Vanessa, Eyeko polishes seem to be everywhere now I know. But they’re so good and this shade is just so fun and bright, yet sophisticated. :)
